The Manager gave us a terrific rate because we were in the area for a funeral. We stayed in a "Premium King" room which meant that the room had been recently redecorated. The bed was very comfortable, with lots of various styles of bed pillows from which to choose. The bathroom (tub/shower and toilet) was clean but TINY -- fortunately we were not oversized people! The sink was outside of the bathroom for convenience. The cleaning products which had been used had a strong, not really pleasant scent. The location of the Inn was very convenient, the parking was right outside our door. The Inn provided an adequate continental breakfast in the small reception area. The Inn provided free WiFi, which was easy to access. The in-room refrigerator was fantastic, since we had brought baked goods with us. We did not use the microwave or coffeemaker, although they were available. The room also had white robes, an iron, a hairdryer, all which combined to create a comfortable environment. Overall, a pleasant, very affordable accommodation, especially for a sad event.

This is our second stay here. This time we brought our boat which we launched at the public ramp right on the other side of the Monterey Bridge. There were plenty of slips at the hotel during our stay (only two other boats). The rooms are all individually decorated (as you can see by the photos), that, and a very friendly staff is why I say it has the feel of a bed and breakfast. Our room was spotless! The attention to detail is great too. Mints, cookies, bottled water, a refrigerator. The towels were so soft I checked the label to see who made them. We wanted to be on the water and looked at several other places, but they were a lot more money and have those cookie cutter room designs and furnishings. We did have a small issue with one of the other guests and the manager couldn't have been nicer or more concerned about us. To say she went above and beyond is an understatement. Thanks Ann! We will definitely be back. I hesitated to leave a review at all for fear once the word gets out, it may be booked next time I call.

This place has the classic virtues and limitations of a well-managed and well-maintained small motel. The service is efficient. We asked for a roll-away bed at check-in, and the desk clerk, who doubled as housekeeping, brought one right over. Compare that to quite a few resorts we've stayed at where we weren't quite sure if one would ever arrive (since the bellhops were 'ssso busssy'). The room was also very clean, with a window A/C unit that actually worked nice and strongly without excessive buzzing or rattling.

That's about it. What more can you expect for 60 bucks a night in Stuart? I would have liked a better/firmer bed. Some of the chains are beginning to spoil me with their pillow top mattresses and variety of pillows. The parking also looked like it could be tight if the majority of guests decided to roll in with huge SUV's or pickups, but was fine when we stayed.

Of course, if you have a boat, the dockage could be heaven on earth, but we can't afford to 'Break Out Another Thousand', so it wasn't a factor.

Love the fabric softener on the towels and linens. Very very Clean. Robes are a very nice touch. Premium room made me sleep terrrific! I stayed right over office, and heard no noice. Internet does work, but you have to choose the correct option on your wireless. The staff is awesome, we didnt have the continental breakfast, because we overslept due to beds being so comfortable. This will be my new spot to be able to visit family in the South Florida area. We drive down from Jacksonville area. Perfect to place and price, and my Husband go to go fishing.
