The pros: The B&B is located in a great spot. It’s next to the water, easy for you to take their kayaks and head down for some fun. You can also use their bikes (which we did) they are old, but hey, they are worth mentioning. The room was clean; we had a bottle of wine waiting for us inside. The B&B also offers a Jacuzzi. We used this one night and it was fantastic. There were different settings, the water was temperature adjustable and there was also a fire pit on the side. There are a lot of nice restaurants nearby, a lot of boutique shops too. The breakfast was delicious. We had plenty of choices. Some of those included: deliciously warm blueberry muffins, assortments of cereal, milk, a wide selection of coffee/tea, pancake maker with mix prepared, orange juice, a wide assortment of fruits, etc. the innkeeper was really nice and provided us with her cellphone in case we needed anything.
The cons: We were never greeted by anyone upon arrival. There were no instructions so we had no idea where to get our key, or what room we had been given. When we finally figured that out and we walked into our room, we noticed we had no private bathroom. Our agreement had been we were getting a room with private bath but at this point we figured it wouldn’t be too bad getting to use the hallway bathroom since the other rooms had bathrooms and there were only 4 rooms total? Maybe 5. The B&B was also very old looking. None of the furniture inside has been updated, there were old fake looking plants everywhere. The TV inside the room was tiny and the channel selection wasn’t very great.
