“Thank You Quality Inn Weeki Wachee”

We visit family several times a year and stay at the Quality Inn at Weeki Wachee. The folks at the front desk make us feel at home and answer all our questions without hesitation. Barbara, the breakfast bunny, makes sure we have everything we need in the morning and keeps the area spotless and inviting to eat in. She's just great. The young ladies in housekeeping attend to all our needs while following instructions to keep the hotel green. The singing maintenance man is an extra special addition. We love sitting by the pool and listening to him in the morning. We were surprised how fair the pricing was and we're thankful that we, the DiSylvestros, are Choice Privilege Members and will be staying with them over and over again. See you in April.

Room Tip: If there is something you want or need, don't be afraid to ask. Don't assume the front desk...

Thank you for the special attention given to review our hotel with TripAdisor. Our staff member's happiness seems to shine thru especially with Hector whistling while he works. I'll be sure to let our breakfast associate know you were pleased with her service. Our hotel is part of a Water Champ Green program to help the environment and save water. Thank you for noticing that the hotel wants to do our part. It is important for our guests to know we truly care that their stay is a pleasant experience. As a Choice Privileges Member you also receive points for your stay with us. Thank you for choosing the Quality Inn Weeki Wachee. We look foward to seeing you again soon.

Sincerely,

“Ten day stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

We stayed at the Quality Inn of Weeki Wachee while looking for a home in the area. The hotel room was clean, provided microwave and small fridge, and the bed was comfortable. We were in a non smoking room so there was no odor from old cigarettes. The wireless worked well and I was able to do some work from the hotel. Overall I would give this hotel a very good rating. The people were nice, and helpful and things went well while we were here. The only suggestion I would make is to offer more variety for the continental breakfast, but for free it was fine.
I would stay here again if I was in the area.

We're so glad to hear that your extended stay with us was a pleasure. Having a microwave and refrigerator is a necessity when staying long term. We appreciate your suggestion and try to accomodate all of our guests with a variety of hot and cold breafast items. We hope to have the opportunity to accommodate you again.

Sincerely,

“House Hunting!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

Quality Inn is a great place to stay. I was here in the Spring Hill area house hunting, and looking for a convenient, cost saving place to stay and the Quality Inn of Weekie Wachee was the right place to stay. Located near Hwy19 andHwy 50 made it easy for me to find my way around, and check out homes in the area. The staff at the Quality Inn were very nice and helpful;able to provide me with local maps and suggestions of places that I would like to see and great places to eat. With my laptop I was able to connect to realestate sites and check out homes for sale without having to sit in the lobby. All in all, it was a great place stay.

“For a chain hotel, it was very nice.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

We stayed here on a road trip from Cedar Key to Tarpon Springs. It is right across the street from Weeki Wachee, which is a bit of old Florida you should not miss if you you haven't already been. Our room was large and clean. There were fast food places nearby. It was set back far enough from the main road to be reasonably quiet. The breakfast was better than the usual with scrambled eggs and bacon. If you just need a place to spend the night, stay here.

Thank you for your review with TripAdvisor. We're so glad to hear you enjoyed the complimentary hot breakfast served daily. Even though we're located on US 19 the property is set back and our courtyard style keeps out most noise. We hope you'll visit us again!

“GROSS!! Right across from Weeki Wachee + free wifi seemed like redeeming qualities for this NONQuality Inn, but not so much.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

If you tell your customers you have wifi, your network really ought to be stable, especially if you're charging $80 for a gross, hardly-an-excuse-for-a-remodeled room with seedy, dirty carpet. I had another chain hotel room picked out that was very nice, clean, well cared for, but 20 miles away from the mermaid show I was taking my kids to.

This hotel, although $10 more, had decent Internet reviews, and I was told it had been remodeled, plus, most importantly for me, I could get some online work done on my laptop. Except their network was clearly as shoddy as the room and grounds.

The front desk connected me to the IT and the tech tried to help me. Somehow, I ended up getting connected to their network while he was still trying to figure out the problem from his end. We ended the call thinking that somehow, miraculously, the connection was established and all was well. But no.

The connection failed a few minutes into my session. Now there is no redeeming factor whatsoever to this dump, aside from being across from our destination.

I can't wait to get out if this place tomorrow. Thanks to my trusty iPhone, I am able to make these comments as, I swear, I feel itchy sitting here in my bed praying that I have not exposed my children and myself to bedbugs.

If it wasn't for the fact that my young kids are in their jammies ready for bed, although also complaining of feeling itchy, I'd run for the hills right now.

This place is GROSS!!! What a HUGE WASTE OF MONEY and a mistake I pray you won't make.

Thank you for your recent review. Although our location was convenient for your trip we apologize that your experience did not meet your expectations. Our rates are very comparable to hotels in our area. We do offer Wi-Fi at no cost at the property. In calling the IT Company to trouble shoot the problem, we found that two of the access points were not working properly. A service tech was called on the first business day and the access points were replaced. Unfortunately, it wasn’t until after you checked out that we could get the issue resolved with the Wi-Fi.

Our guests rave about our grounds and the courtyard pool which are maintained on a daily basis. We have an aggressive and reputable pest service that is very aggressive in servicing the property. I can assure you we DO NOT have bedbugs. Our linens are always cleaned during a guest’s stay and again when a guest checks out.

As a Mother I understand how protective we are of our children and how inconvenient it is to move tired little ones. If you would have contacted the front desk, we could have rectified any concerns by relocating you to another room. If you gave us the opportunity to solve the problem while staying this nasty review would have been unnecessary and we would have accommodated you immediately.

Once again, please accept our sincere apologies.
