I originally booked myself in here for a weeklong stay. After three days of no housekeeping, I was forced to search for clean towels on my own. The owner gave all sorts of reasons for the lack of housekeeping and when he saw I wasnt buying it, he pointed out that my price didnt include housekeeping and that it was available for an additional $250. Ya Right!
As for the continental breakfast, it consists of coffee, rancid orange juice, pop tarts and granola bars. When I asked about it, I was told that when it was a Days Inn, it was three star and that breakfast was acceptable to the chain as a 'continental breakfast'. He changed to a Knight's Inn because the star rating was lower and didnt have to maintain such high standards. He was continuing the breakfast as a courtesy.
During my stay here, I have yet to receive a clean towel. They are white and it is quite easy to tell if they are clean or not.
Ive been here 1.5 weeks now and the bed was changed just today.
Other than that, the staff have been quite polite and when I voiced my opinions, they were addressed. I have had housekeeping in everyday and they are doing a good job.
Also, during my time here, I have not encountered any sort of 'wildlife' in my room whatsoever.
The beds, curtains, spreads, sheets, towels etc. are not brand new but other than towel problems, are clean and functional.
