If you look for a clean quiet standard two-queen bedroom, Days Inn at Sarasota is a good choice. No surprise means no bad surprise. Only the wifi was a bit shaky. Good location for the very nice Myakka State Park.

We stayed 2 nights at the Days Inn, Sarasota, FL. Great stay for the value. It's very clean and comfortable The breakfast was good and plentiful.
The location is good, on the main street with lots of shops and restaurants close by.
It's tricky to find because it is set back off the road behind Burger King.
The staff is friendly and helpful.

I come to Sarasota once a month and when I do I always stay at Days INN . The front Desk person named Matt has always been wonderful and kind to my husband and I. The hotel is situated behind Burger King right off of 75 yet we dont hear any traffic. Safe neighborhood with everything you can imagine on the strip. Rooms are clean. Breakfast has waffles, danish, hard bolied eggs, hot and cold cereal, fruit and more. The rooms have a fridge, coffee maker and microwave. If there is something you forgot the front desk will have it. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

I stayed at this Day's Inn for three nights. The hotel is well located on main road close to the highway. There is every kind of store etc. around. It is set back from the road so you might not notice it right away. A few feet away is a Comfort Inn. There is a 7-11 that sells gas at a reasonable price. The facility is very very clean. The staff are freindly and very helpful. Things could be updated a bit but it all works well. I have a microwave and fridge in the room. The room are fairly large - mine was a king bed and there was a couch that could sleep two.
There were washer/driyers on to floors, snack/soda machine around.
Breakfast is simple, and not for those of us who are gluten-free, but the coffee was good and strong.
There is free access to a computer in the lobby so you can print board cards.
The had low rates and I saved by using their own website.
