The best part of staying at this H.I. was the breakfast. I would much rather have had a decent nights sleep. I will say that the grounds were very nicely kept and even the room was clean but gave the appearance of being old and dingy and that is exactly what the bed felt like. We only spent one night here but I would not have spent another even if we were going to be in the area. It is not convenient for beaches, tourist activities. We did walk to dinner but basically it is a hotel on the main drag and I think there probably are better options available.

We used this hotel as it was a short distance from our main holiday accommodation near Crescent beach, and we need a one night stay before travelling back to Tampa airport.

Our room was a good size, with decent bathroom & shower, also had a fridge & drink making facilities.

Free buffet breakfast was one of the best we have encountered, having stayed in similar accommodation in various other places in Florida.

We checked out at 11am but were allowed to use the pool facilities, which we thought were very good indeed.

Staff were efficient, overall very good hotel which we would recommend for a short stop.

At the time of our stay, we had three kids under the age of 7. If you are a fan of Holiday Inn Express this one will not disappoint. Our kids really enjoyed themselves in the pool area. The only negatives to the experience--grumpy old people seemed to be annoyed with our kids in the pool area, but they seemed to warm up after awhile, and the hotel is not located on Siesta Key like the name suggests. It is close to Siesta Key beach but not on Siesta Key Beach. I suggest doing a google map search so you know exactly what your location is before booking. With three small children we still had to drive to the beach.

Located facing a congested route 41 and miles from beach is not what I was leaded to believe.
Price was pricey,room smelled stale, needed at least a steam cleaner for carpet. Last time I stay there. Reception seemed overwhelm and too short when asked questions.
