I traveled a long way and was exhausted when I arrived at this hotel after being treated horribly at a Bradenton Days Inn. The attendant behind the counter was very courteous and even gave me a discount for a late check in. The beds were clean and comfortable, and they were more than accomodating the entire week I stayed. It was a decent location and I would absolutely stay here again. The staff let me use their computer and fax machine throughout the week to help me with my buisiness. The housekeepers were very pleasant and quiet. The continental breakfast was basic but fresh. Two thumbs up.

Room carpet was soaking wet in front of bathroom door, possibly from clogged toilet. Room smelled bad. Had to request a change of room. Kids room, the bed was not made from last customer that used it. We requested clean sheets to do the beds ourselves, but front desk person did not now where they kept them. Had to use the room anyways because it was late at night. It was a disaster. We will never use a Confort Inn again.

Not what I expected. However, I did report my issues to them and they "made my stay right". They are in new ownership and the transition is probematic. However, based upon their response to my concerns, and their friendly nature, I would stay here again. It is an excellent location.

This hotel is convenient to lots of Sarasota attractions. It's your standard Comfort Inn, which is tidy, comfortable, economically-friendly and just a decent place to stay a few nights. The front desk agent was sooooo nice and helpful and even gave us ideas for sight-seeing and restaurants!
