I stayed at this hotel based on the reviews on a couple sites. It is not worth the $100-200/night they charge. The rooms are small (though nicely decorated), not many amenities, and the hotel and halls are loud (I couldnt hear our TV over the hallway noise). Our airconditioner panel was broken, the toilet was clogged, and the furniture was chipped; the decor in the public areas is like a casino. I thought I'd be going to Shangri-La based on what I'd read - the pool and spa areas are nothing special, the restaurant looks fun if you're into hotel bars. I did like the bathroom - that's about it. No breakfast included - but you can buy a breakfast special for $9.50 : coffee, juice, and toast - GET REAL! You'd think this was the Ritz with these prices. Go to the HYATT PLACE (where we stayed the two night prior): the price is comparable, it's closer to the airport (right across the street), the rooms are TWICE as big (no joke; you get a sectional sofa, dry bar, and desk area additional to what you get in Holiday Inn rooms), the HD TVs are huge, the COMPLIMENTARY breakfast is delicious, beds are comfier, and the service is more personal and cordial (the hotel is smaller and can focus more without having the hoards that the Holiday Inn has to manage). The two hotels are like night and day and the same price. Holiday Inn is a joke - will never come back!
