Beautiful grounds, the suites usually feature something different and/or updated every year. It feels like home...if home had almost 180 degree views of the gulf of mexico! Overall quiet and relaxing. You don't need to bring too much. The condos have everything you need down to an ice cream scoop!

You shouldn't have to deal with the office or maintenance staff too often as they tend to keep things in good order.

Pros: Location, ambiance, nice beach, OUTSTANDING comfort*.

Cons: Typical "Sanibel" attitude towards tourists...need to be more friendly. *need better mattresses in guest bedroom.

A very comfortable resort, with only 28 units, & lots of nice people as neighbors. Quarters could not have been better. Remarkably quiet, even with numbers of small children, which it accomodates very well. Many three generation families seem to come here, although it would not be a bad place for a romantic getaway. Great beach, pool, and convenient location to local amenities. The large units and space of the property allow you to be social or private/ your call.

What a wonderful resort! Sanibel Cottages has beautiful and spacious accommodations, wonderful amenities, is right on a breathtaking beach, and is family friendly...it was truly a perfect vacation spot! I would recommend it to anyone.

A charming "mini" resort. Lovely accomodations, small, quiet pool area just steps from the beach. Wonderful porches to sit. Staff could have been friendlier, though they did their job. Only disappointment was the "crowd" that frequented the pool day and night from the neighboring condo complex, Sanibel Villas. Seems one party rents at the Hilton timeshare and "friends" use the pool. Wouldn't have matter much except they were loud and enjoyed their cocktails starting at noon. With that said, the accomodations are above average, staff was fair and location is outstanding.
