We booked our condo through Sanibel Accomodations. They were very friendly and helpful. The condo (210 B) was large and clean with everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. The beaches of Sanibel are great. The wildlife is amazing. The atmosphere is relaxing. I highly recommend this as a place to unwind.

Just returned from one week at the Island Beach Club (Unit 230D) and have to say we had a wonderful time. The unit, rented directly from the owner, was very clean, comfortably furnished and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, baking dishes, kitchen utensils, appliances, etc. Plenty of towels and beach towels. A screened lanai with cooling gulf breezes was enjoyable. The unit has an impressive view of the gulf. Pool was always clean and heated. This complex's building D has very good beach access... probably the closest we've seen. We also had a covered parking spot, with use of their beach chairs, umbrella, shelling tools, hibachi, etc. This time of year is not crowded, therefore restaurants had little or no wait times and traffic was at a minimum. Would highly recommend unit 230D. Rented through the VRBO website.

We've been here three times and have always had a great time. The huge master bedroom walk-in closet is large enough (unless the owner has converted it somehow) to hold a twin-size bed. It's a great way for a large family (6) to create another bedroom.

The kids love the pool and being so close to the beach. They enjoy looking for geckos around the complex. The laundry facilities and full kitchen make it an easy place to stay with kids, eating in when you want to. It's always been quiet when we've been there in early December. We'll go back again.

First visited Island Beach Club 10 years ago with family, a great time for kids,vacationed again in April 2004, and again had a great time. Great pool, reasonable cost, a home away from home. I can only speak for visiting Island Beach Club during March/April, weather, pool, and beach were a great time. Sanibel Steakhouse a little pricey, but was great food nonetheless, Amy's cafe looked like it would be a great place for breakfast, but the food was terrible. Best breakfast; The Island Cow. make time to visit the Ding-Darling Nature Preserve.The Sanibel Islands Resorts were a big disappointment and highly over-rated. Bring your family to Island Beach Club, you wont regret it.
