When checking in to the hotel, I was informed by the clerk that I would not be getting the two rooms that I was guaranteed when I originally made my reservation. I was told that I would be getting two rooms, but that they would be on different floors. I explained (with my family standing right next to me) that this would not be possible since I was traveling with my husband and three very small children. Then I was told I could have two rooms on the same floor but not connecting. Again, I explained why this was not going to work. When I asked about the "guaranteed" connecting rooms, I was told that it was MY fault because I did not make the reservation with the hotel directly. When, in fact, I had contacted the hotel directly, but was transferred to the general reservation desk since nobody was answering at the hotel desk.
Also, the bathroom floors looked and felt as though they had not been cleaned in months, the showers were cracked and moldy and the bedding smelled like someone had bought a bottle of $5 perfume and sprayed everything down.
Oh, and there is NO self parking. Only valet is allowed. They do not mention this at the desk or on the website.
I would never stay here again. Not even if it was free. What a shame.

I most certainly apologize for your negative check in experince when you visited our hotel in St Petersburg. While we try to accomodate all of our guests requests, we are not always able to meet all of them do to physical constraints of our property. We only have 10 rooms that connect at this location and is very limiting. While we do utilize a regional reservation office to assist us with this process, they can only make requests and cannot guarantee, I apologize if they did not communicate this correctly. I have reviewed your additonal comments with our staff and we continue to strive for perfection. I have reviewed our website to ensure our parking offering is noted and is comunicated properly. I have emailed our guest personally to address these comments.
