We stayed at this property because it was in close proximity to a family member that we were visiting. It was very bare bones and worn out. The kitchenette area was new, but the soft goods were worn. The AC barely cooled the room. We were given a worn out beach towel upon arrival. I KILLED 2 roaches during the night! The swimming pool is in the middle of the parking lot.
This was not a very upscale part of this area!

Staying at the barefoot resort was the best 7 days my daughter and I have ever spent together! The acommendations were awesome, from the beautiful decorated comfortable room, to the necessities delivered to your room every morning!! What completed the vacation was the personalized attention you received from the front desk!! Very friendly, & helpful!! We would recommend this hotel to anyone! Thank you sooo much Barefoot Beach for making our vacation a memorable one!!!

It was a nice quiet place but for what we spent the shoreline adult resort would have been a better bet. Didn't like the fact that there was no housekeeping everyday. Flooding in hallways was a tad bit annoying. Friendly staff. Sort out your options, bear foot is a great place but I'd only return if it was last minute and they were the only vacancy around

After you have spent a day at Disney, stay here 2 weeks. It's like having your own oceanfront home on the beach with sand dunes for beauty and privacy.

Pretty soon everyone will be going fishing in flip flops in the Pass or marina at dawn and hook it cook it lunch at Lisa's across the street or the Wharf in Pass a Grille.

You can arise and walk on the beach for an hour and then have breakfast at Lisa's which is like having your own in-house restaurant. Or walk to Sweet Sage in Redington which has a garden, read the newspapers and is open 7am until 2 pm.

This is a great place for extended family vacations because you can walk or take the trolley to everything. Evie and Marc will do everything to make you happy immediately from Zagat reviewed restaurants to the solution for a sticky thermostat to lost swim goggles. With front office Meryl and Ricardo it is like having a concierge. There is tremendous natural beauty, impeccable old Florida staff and a commitment to quiet service and excellence.

This is oceanfront. You can see the sunrise and have drinks on the balcony watching the sunset or watch the kids in the pool or on the beach.

This is our third visit. You will feel renewed. There is something for everyone here.
