We told them last night that there is no hot water in our room and were told they'd look into it. This morning, still no hot water. I got a key to the room next door, no hot water. Now the manager is "looking into it."

We are 3 adults traveling unexpectedly because of a sudden death in the family. We asked for a room big enough for 3. They gave us a room with 2 queens, telling us all the rooms are similar size. When I got the key to the room next door, it is the same size, but recently renovated and much more spacious, brand new bathroom. The entire hotel seems empty. Couldn't they have given us a nicer room?

My family and I stayed at Grayl's Hotel celebrating my birthday! The staff was kind and very accomodating. The room was very comfortable and we had a great view. We will stay at Grayl's Hotel again. I would recommend this hotel to others.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. We were looking for a one night getaway and this was a great hotel in a perfect locatin. We were amazed at the cleanliness and the friendly atmosphere. From check in to chek out the staff was very friendly. You get a much more casual transaction than you would from a large stanard chain. If you're expecting a very structured business only transaction relationship rather than a casual, laid back experience then I can see where you'd either be pleasantly surprised or perhaps disappointed - depending on you expectations and desires. So, keep in mind this is casual.

The location offers plenty of dinning/meal options. Even though the menu and food at the hotel looked great we decided to dine next door at 'The Moon Under Water'. However, it was nice to just walk back to the hotel and sit on the veranda and enjoy a few drinks while people watching. There was live entertainment outside on property which was very enjoyable as well - not too loud. We also enjoyed the view from the veranda of the park across the street.

If you're looking or a casual experience at a hotel that has character where you really do not need to drive for a day, thiis should be at the top of your list. Would also be perfect to stay here while attending a Ray's game. There's a shuttle just down the road that'll take you to the 'Trop' for $5 - again, don't need to drive. We'll definately be returning in the future.

Hotel staff was very accomodating. I could tell that they had a personal commitment to ensure my stay was great. The room was like an apartment and very tastefully decorated with high poster beds and what a view. The restaurant was great, casual dining and a variety of beverages to choose from. I chose to sit outdoors and enjoy the waterfront view. Beautiful!!!!!!
