Driving up the gulf coast we just happened to see the sign and decided to pull in and see if something was available. What a 'diamond in the rough'. Customer service was VERY friendly and accomodating, the room was nice (great to have a stove/fridge/microwave in the room), and to be able to stay right on the beach was amazing! No crossing streets! The view of the sunset while I sat next to the pool was heavenly! This place is walking distance (or at least a SHORT drive) to anything you may need including some nice restaurants. I needed a couple of RELAXING days after a busy conference and this was just the place to do that. THANK YOU!

We happened upon this place by chance. We needed a room for one night only, but we needed an early check-in time. (11:30). They were so friendly and accommodating! The price was right and the motel is charming. They really do a great job with the upkeep. When we arrived the owner was repainting the yellow parking spaces. The room we had was small, but it had a kitchenette and nice amenities. The grounds are well maintained. I thought this place was a steal. We would love to come back for a longer stay!

I have been a patron of the Palm Crest for the past 10 years. I began visiting as a single women and now my husband and I enjoy bringing our young son. We truly enjoy this relaxing laid back atmosphere located right on the Gulf. We enjoy watching the dolphins in the morning, sunsets at night and swimming in the Pool and Gulf during the day. Located in close proximity to area attractions, this Hotel is a great value. The rooms are simply yet tastefully accommodated with many household items. The kitchens enable guests to prepare meals in the room if the thought of getting off the lounge chair and going out seems like too much effort. Not extremely fancy, but fun, clean and safe.

Our friends recommended this motel to us and we have had 3 very enjoyable stays twice in 08 and 09 . and we will be back in 2011.
The hotel has the perfect location and is literally just off the beach and not virtually as we have discovered can mean mile walk! one step off the deck and you are on the beach.
The rooms over the front are huge with kitchens and a raised deck -and are truly value for money.
The standard rooms are fine clean and totally adequate after all who goes to Florida to sit in their room -right?
