Upon arriving I was unsure about this hotel. I was told I woils have a king size bed with a balcony. To my surprise I stumbled in my room on the 7th floor with MUCH excitement! I not only had a king size bed but I had my very own private deck. The view was so beautiful. I felt as i was on my honeymoon! the room was very large with a frig and a wet bar. Microwave, coffee maker, plates and silverware included as well. The food on the patio was so good! Chicken florentine, nachos, salmon was my pick. Sit at the adult pool, pool is warmer or grab yourself a seat on the beach. This hotel beats many others in the area. I will be back tradewinds! And thank you for an enjoyable stay.

The Tradewinds Resort was a totally wonderful experience! The staff was very friendly and attentive at every level, from the registration desk clerk to the gift shop attendant to the beach front attendant. The room was bright and clean. We had a gulf-view room and the view was awesome!!! The resort offered many activities. I took advantage of the Body Works Spa and had a facial, manicure and hair highlights. The staff there was excellent and treated me like a queen!! There was also an array of dining experiences. We visited the Piper's Patio and Palm Court Italian Grill. Each restaurant was very different; the Piper's Patio was casual dining with an outdoor patio and the Palm Court Italian Grill was a intimate finer dining experience. Both were very good and the room service was wonderful too. We also visited a few of the bars, including The Sand Bar. The bar staff was very interactive and fun!! There are several pools, including an adult only pool with hot tub which is a great feature!! St Petersburg Beach is beautiful, even in January!! We took several walks on the beach collecting shells and the sunsets are breathtaking!! I would definenitely recommend Tradewinds Resorts to friends and family and we will be visiting again!!!! It will take more than one trip to enjoy all the amenities offered at this great resort!!

We lucked out when we chose Sandpiper! Amazing clean beach, very attentive & helpful staff in all departments - made a genuine effort to know their guests and went above & beyond to ensure a most enjoyable stay. Rooms were very clean, updated, & service was exceptional. We will definitely be returning next year & hopefully every year for an amazing get away!!

Great hotel, beachfront, 2 smaller pools, one for adults only, nice coffeeshop @ hotel, small but tidy rooms, good beds, private parking. Would stay there again if i come back to that part of the world. Kids loved the beach & the sea. Check out the waffle house 500 meters on tha left for good breakfast....and the Nori thai at 7612 Blind Pass Road for good thaifood..
