Been comming to St pete Beach for 30 plus years and this is one of the best places ever. A variety of room choices, two pools, BarBQ grills on site, the beach two minutes away,many restaurants and sports bars and shopping within walking distance. A family friendly place,very clean with reasonable rates. The staff is helpful and accomodating and the manager,Christie is always there to see that your stay is enjoyable and to assist in anyway she can. If your going to St Pete Beach you should check out the Florida Dolphin. We ' ve been there 4 times and will be back for sure.

We have been staying here for the last 5 years or so. It is perfect for us ... we were 5 adults .. and with kitchen facilities it was great. Love the short walk to the beach ... close to shops ... and everyone is very friendly and accomodating. Had to cancel last year right before our trip due to illness and they were great! Made a dificult time very easy for us. Lookiing forward to our trip this year.

I have stayed in St Petes a few times but this was my first at the Dolphin, it is a true old Floridian motel with lots of great things going for it, 1st location location location 2 minutes to the public beach and beautiful sunsets, a short walk to the beach bar if thats what your looking for, right around the corner from fast food, grocery store and beach shops...and as mentioned in other reviews twisty treats... best ice cream ever!! 2nd the rooms are great for extended stays we stayed in a one bedroom with 2 dbl beds, it has everything you need and is nice to have the full kitchen. The bbq at the pool is nice to have nothing beats a beautiful day and a grill at the pool to make it feel like a home away from home and when you are travelling with 2 kids its nice to feel that way. That being said don't get me wrong it is a little bit dated but for the price and location I can over see a older couch and chair! 3rd it is quiet! very nice to sit at the pool during the day and evening with the kids and not have a 100 other ppl trying to do the same thing always chairs available and not to noisy especially since we had just come from 10 days at Disney it was a relief to have some peace!! If you are looking for a decent priced place where you can have the amenities of home I would recommend it for sure.

Cute, clean, comfortable! The room had one of the best motel mattresses I've ever slept on, and it's located just a short block from the beach.
