Friendly Staff, Decent breakfast. But the rooms were not up to the mark.
Booked this hotel through CheapOStay. Once i reached the hotel i understood that we paid $20 more than the regular price through that website.
Avoid CheapOStay.com.
Hotel Location is convenient to I-95 but not close to Downtown St Augustine.

I am usually very upbeat on my reviews...but this one is a no go. Stayed one night aftera long drive from New York...found it in a coupon book....for 49...should have known better...did not get a chance to view on tripadvisor....this place is a dump. it is close by the outlets...but there are plenty around that are better...stay away

I've stayed at this motel before because someone else made the reservations. It always feels old, the carpet is usually dirty, & the comforter stained. The last time I had to stay there (end of October) I hope will be my last. The room was as described above but this time there was mold around the tub & the bathroom tile was dirty. On the positive side, the sheets felt clean & the bed was fairly comfortable.

The kicker for me this time was that we returned to the room around 3p & the room had not been cleaned (we had left around 6:30a). Someone finally showed up around 4:30p. I just asked for clean towels & left it at that, we were leaving the next day.We left the room around 5:30p. Because I wasn't expecting anyone to come into our room, I left my Kindle plugged in on the vanity to charge. When I got back to the room around 9p the Kindle was gone. I reported it to the front desk even though I didn't really expect anything to be done. The front desk guy ran a scan on our room lock & said that noone had been in our room. Thats fine but my Kindle is still missing & my husband nor I have it.

The front desk guy did call the sheriff's office & I filed a report. I will say that the female officer that responded was very nice & professional even making sure that I cancelled my Amazon account so no one could charge from my Kindle. Thank you St.Johns county sheriff's depart.

I was told to call back & speak to the manage who would review the security tapes which I did, 3 times & left a message but noone ever called me back. I didn't really expect that I would ever see my brand new Kindle (had just got it for my anniversary) but it would have been nice to see alittle more concern from the staff that there was a thief among them.

If you have to stay here just know that it is not the cleanest place & don't leave anything, no matter what time it is, in your room. If something is stolen out of your room, don't waste your time reporting it to the front desk because they could care less.

I am supposed to rent a room here for a month stay, but after reading the reviews I am reluctant. Is this why the price is so great? I will defiantly check the room before if I decide to stay here. I seen a few good reviews, but many bad one's. Sounds like it falls mostly on the uncleanness of the rooms. Maybe that should be looked into by hotel management. Maybe rooms should be checked after the maids clean. Maybe carpet cleaners should be used periodically. Ramada is a big name in the industry and has been for years would be a shame for name to be ruined or the reputation of management to be tarnished all because the maids did not do their job.
