This place is one of Best Western's lowest tier hotels. I wouldn't even rate it a "hotel". This classifies more as a "motel". I have seen nice motels than this one. The carpet looked old and smelled musty and dirty. There were stains on the sheets and one of the bed sheets was dirty. The TV was an older TV in the first room we stayed in and springs stuck out of the mattress. When we called and complained they moved us to another room and this one was more updated but guess what? The remote wasn't keyed to that particular T.V. so we had to change channels manually.
The pool water was not heated and this Best Western didn't have a hot tub. Again, it was more on the scale of a motel. We were told the breakfast was a light continental and by the next morning we were so disgusted with this place we decided to just check out and go into town to Village Inn for breakfast.
Will NEVER stay here again - it certainly isn't worth $65 a night plus tax. I won't recommend this place. Better go down the street to the Fairfield Inn & Suites or Quality Inn.

My wife and I stayed here for a night while visiting St. Augustine. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and the room was reasonably priced for a weekend stay. The exceptional part occurred when we arrived home and discovered we had left our personal pillows in the hotel room. We called the hotel and spoke with Christine. She took down our address and a few days later the pillows arrived in the mail.

Saw huge spider when I lifted pillow, no elevator for second floor and got a room next to stairs and ice machine.... Had awful smell of cigarette smoke through vents in bathroom and heard every noise possible from outside....
I am not even going to try the breakfast.

We made our reservation on Hotels.com based on the value and reasonably good reviews. We arrived and another guest was having a problem with the bathroom. The clerk quickly offered her the choice of another room or having problem repaired. Very agreeable staff. We had requested a room with closed-captioned tv but the remote did not work to set up the captioning. A maintenance person was quickly dispatched to the room with a proper remote. The room was clean, WiFi in room available, nice new TV, pillows, heat/ac, granite counter surround for sink. A breakfast buffet is included for the very low price of $55. The surrounding area is a well known discount mall and has many restaurants within walking distance.
