“Nice place, lots of room, needed updates.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

This was a large 3 bedroom condo with the best views you could have. It had 2 1/2 baths and a very large living room. The condo has been remodeled some but needed some decor updates, and new pillows. I would also recommend that the owner put tv's in each bedroom. The complex itself is gated which is an extra security but we did have some complications with the gates a couple of times. The beach was large and private. Parking is separate from some condos, but you could unload and then park. We very much enjoyed our stay here and I would go back.

“Great for Affordable Family Vacation”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 September 2011

We stayed the last week on June 2011. We rented a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo from a private owner and paid $795 for the whole week. It was 4 adults and 1 child and it was enough room for us. We walked up stairs to the beach (and then back down steps) but it was an easy enough walk. The beach was awesome. We were only a 15 minute drive to down town Saint Augustine and there was lots of dining and grocery stores very close by. It is an older community but very nice and again great for an affordable family vacation. Only reason I did not give perfect score was pool. Pool was fine, but small and the pool deck was too small. But we spend all our time at the beach so really wasn't an issue for us.
We really enjoyed it and if we go back to Saint Augustine we would definatly stay there again since it was such a great value.

“july 4th at Quail Hollow”

We stayed two weeks at A3, the place was exactly as they listed. Ocean view, clean, the quiet beach is right there. The kids thought this was the best vacation ever. The Pool was clean, plenty of chairs, and refreshing. The gated community was an added security. I hate to recommend this place because everyone will flock here. Best kept secret. We owned the beach in the AM and after dinner, there were just a few people there. Absolutely wonderful. Maybe my kids scared them away. lol. We got our fill of boogey boarding, kids went surfing just to the right of us with the surf shop. I know value and this place was more than that.

“We loved this complex!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 November 2009

My husband and I were looking for a quiet and serene place to stay. We found it! It was such a pleasant surprise. It is a gated community. We stayed in a building that was not oceanview. it was building A6. The condo had everything that we needed. We stayed in a 2 bedroom that had 2 patios. The ocean was a 2 minute walk. Crescent Beach is gorgeous. We walked everyday. We saw turtles, several species of gulls, sandpipers, and pelicans. The shells are abundant. We met several very nice locals. We can't wait to go back! we would never stay in a hotel. Can you imagine that we only paid $400 total for the week.

“Quiet and low-key”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 May 2008

We (family of 4) have rented directly from owners here 2 years in a row in July. Each time the owners were great and very flexible about length of stay. The complex is quiet and low-key. The pool could be bigger, but is nice when there are only a few people (which was often). The units were clean and well-maintained (one a bit more updated than the other). Quiet family atmosphere condo with a "beach cottage" feel. Easy access to very uncrowded beach. We were very comfortable and would stay again.
