Buyer beware! There are actually two Cozy Inns, although they are owned by the same folks. One is a quaint old house and the other is a renovated flop house 1950's era motel across the street. I'll give the owners credit, they did a bang up remodeling job on the motel, but they didn't have much to start with. The rooms are tiny and most sit right on the main highway through town, so you'll get lots of road noise in your room 24-7. And don't expect any, and I mean any, amenities in the motel; no motel style breakfast, no B&B style wine and cheese tastings, and if you want ice you'll have to hike down to the 7-11 to get it!
St Augustine is full of B&Bs, hotels, and motels in all price ranges, so do your TA homework carefully. I usually take these reviews as gospel when making my travel plans, and that's why I chose this place, but this time I've got to disagree with all the great reviews this property has gotten.
