I have stayed here several times in the past for quick weekend getaway. This is our favorite place to go in Florida for a weekend. The hotel is right in the middle of things. Back door goes right into historic downtown and the front is located on the bay. Rooms are all done in historic style. Beds are very comfortable, have flat screen TVs with HiDef but last time we stayed only a couple channels were working. Great breakfast selections in the morning but strange thing is there are no eggs, only way to get eggs is to have omlete station cook them for you. Would save a lot of time for everyone if they would add eggs to the buffet.
Try and go for 4th of July fireworks. The pool is right on the bay and the show is the best I have seen. There is wifi in all the rooms as well. Parking is in a secure garage under the hotel. There is a parking charge even for motorcyles! Dont think that is right as when we are on the bike we dont even get a space, usually park up against the wall.

Room Tip: Try and get a room with a bay view, couple rooms have private balconies. If no bay view ask for roo...
