“Much better than expected”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 November 2011

My husband and I wanted a quick weekend away for not much money. We settled on this motel because it was within budget and in a good location. We were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience.

It looks like everything has been refurbished recently, inside and out. There was fresh paint, although there was no "new paint" smell. There was new carpet in our room and a flat screen TV. The room was very clean and the linens were in good condition. There was no musty smell like you get sometimes in older motels, especially near the beach.

The front desk staff was super friendly and courteous. The continental breakfast was nice. We only had coffee, but there was also cereal, toast, pastries, milk and juice.

The location was great. We just had to walk across the not-too-busy A1A to get to the public area, with restroom, pier entrance and beach access. There is also a kid's water play area that is popular. The motel is right behind a 24 hour convenience store. There is a wall between the properties, so we didn't feel that safety was an issue.

The only issue we had was the noise from the restaurant next door. They had what sounded like live music 'til late in the night on Saturday. Once we got in the room, though, and turned the air on, we weren't bothered by it.

I would definitely stay here again.

“You get what you pay for, it`s a 2 Star Motel, so that`s what you get”

Just as advertised, it`s 2 stars. If that`s what you are used too, it`s probably ok, it was clean and cheap. The Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Would I personally stay there again? No. We left after one night and checked into the World Golf Village Renaissance. We paid twice as much, so we got twice as much.

“Perfect for us”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 August 2011

My husband and I stayed here from August 13 until the 16th for our honeymoon. It was perfect. The bed were yes a little hard but that is due to them being new. I asked for no housekeeping during our stay and that was honored. The staff was very nice and american. You can tell they are updating everything, and making it look real nice. The pool was clean and refreshing after a hot day in the town. The bathroom is a little small, but it has what we need. All in all it was perfect for us.

“Would stay here again”

The motel wasn't one of the newer ones but it was clean and located just a few miles from everything we wanted to see and do. The beach was across the street with vollyball courts, picnic area, kids play area and the Peir. The beach was just beautiful, wish we would have had more time there. A convenient store next door. Shuttle pickup available.

Room Tip: We choose this motel because it had a room with three beds for a reasonable rate.

No free shuttle, maid didnt show up to clean room half of the time, and never cleaned poop toilet the whole time we were there. The indoor heated pool wasn't always heated, the washer and dryer was broken, with no effort the whole time to ever fix it.Creepo's partied in front of our door most of the time, even throwing a beer bottle at our window, and leaving there trash at our door.Breakfast was shabby.Walls were very thin, could hear everything, and it wasn't possible to turn volume of tv up to a normal hearing level, because other guests could hear it.Must cross the road to get to beach, very dangerous, vehicles won't stop.Guests were leaving due to bedbugs(they caught some in a jar).Waste of time and money.Sad.
