My husband, daughter [19 months old], and I just got home from spending a weekend in St. Augustine. I had a science teacher's conference to attend, and the conference hotel was booked. I found 63 Orange Street on the internet, because not every B&B will allow small children, and I really wanted to have a feeling of "at home" after the days at the conference..

I cannot say enough nice things about 63 Orange Street, the innkeeper Jackie and her assistant Kelly. The house is beautiful; it was built somewhere around 1888, and it is nicely appointed. We stayed in "Kate's room" because the daybed area adjacent to the bedroom was well-suited for our daughter, Breakfast was superb, and we really felt at home. Not to mention that 63 Orange Street has a very ideal locale: within a short walking distance to Historic St Augustine, yet not in the hustle and bustle of the attractions. Jackie has a small pond with a waterfall in the B&B backyard and it creates a very relaxing sound that can be heard from the balcony/porch of Kate's room.

The best part about 63 Orange Street has to be the hospitality of the innkeeper Jackie. The house and the cooking would bring me back, but her gentle kindness makes me want to move in (if I could). The part I liked the least, is that we didn't have more time to stay and had to get home for the work week.

Jackie Kent is the best of the best, not only is she a gourmet cook, she is a wonderful hostess, who takes great pride in running one of the "Best" B&B's in St. Augustine, FL.
We came home feeling relaxed and happy, 63 Orange Street shines with the flavor of the old South, beautifully done rooms and breakfast.

We were the first marriage at 63 orange st. Miss Jackie made our marriage better than we ever expected.She made us feel like we were family in her home. We can not put into words how much we appreciate how Miss Jackie made our wedding so special for us. We would like to thank her for her hospitality and love she showed us. We will never forget the great time we spent in a quaint town called St. Augustine.

Jackie and Kelly offer an ideal surrounding and professional service. The location and free onsite parking are ideal; the historic town is easy to see on foot from this near-center residential street. While the house provides a fantasy of living in the past, it has been totally updated with ac, good plumbing, and wireless. Too many B+B's are fussy and frilly; here you will find a nice balance of homey comforts while not feeling like you are in Grandma's house or a flea market. The breakfasts are excellent. You won't regret this choice.
