“A superb, peaceful hidden treasure away from the main drag.”

My husband and I have stayed here on two occassions, for our honeymoon and daughter's baptism. I cannot say enough good things about this place and the staff, in particular, Stephanie went over and above to accommodate us on both trips. There is nothing quite like the sights and sounds of the harbour at night, I absolutely love this place and recommend it in every aspect.

“Room with a view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 January 2012

We had originally booked for just 2 nights but extended to 4, because we liked the accommodation and found more to do in the area than anticipated. Our first 2 nights were spent in room 20, probably the best room situated on 2nd floor with dual aspect balconies overlooking the Marina. Lovely views. The room was quiet and spacious and ll the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast next door at Fish Tales was adequate - nothing special. The neighbouring Kingfisher Grill was popular and offered a comprehensive menu at reasonable prices with attractive harbour views. Overall we enjoyed our stay especially Room 20.

Room Tip: Room 20 or one of the suites on 2nd Floor

“Had a great stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

We had a very nice stay at the Camachee Harbor over the New Year Holiday. The staff is very friendly and the room we booked was huge! It is pet friendly and for us that is a big plus. The view from the balcony was nice but since it's right next to the bridge the noise was a little problem. If you want a quiet place, book a room with the marina view. We are going to try that next time. The breakfast place was very nice and quaint but I would love to see a little more healthier options for breakfast (cereal, yogurt, omelet etc) The only real negative was the condition of the beds. They were way too soft and both my husband and I ended up with back pains. Also the stains in the carpet should be removed for a more pleasant stay. Other than that, an outstanding place, super nice staff and a great location.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review for us. We are glad that you enjoyed staying with us over the holiday weekend with your pet and that you found our staff to be accommodating. We know that Fish Tales offers a fresh fruit bowl on our voucher as an option, and we can certainly look into getting cereal and yogurt on there as well since they do offer those items regularly. We apologize that you did not find the beds comfortable; all of our rooms are different when it comes to the type of bed and it is hard to personalize based on individual preference. We can try to describe to each guest when they call if a bed is more or less firm when they are choosing a room, but it is still an opinion. The week between Christmas and New Year's was extremely busy, and we do professionally clean our carpets on a regular basis when they are vacant. Again, thank you for staying with us and we look forward to seeing you again in the future! Happy New Year!

“What a wonderful place to stat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 November 2011

This was our third visit to the Inn, and this time we took friends. We love this place as not only is it in a perfect location, with great ameneties and staff, but we are able to bring our dog with us. We usually have a room but this time as there were four of us we had a suite. As usual everything was up to standard and we had a wonderful time. The breakfast has vastly improved since our last stay too. Would recommend this "inn" to anyone visitng the area.

Room Tip: We have stayed in Room 17 and Suite 27 - both are excellent. Rooms at the front are slightly quiete...

“Perfect place to get ready for our wedding!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 November 2011

We got married on 11/11/11 next door to the Inn at the Kingfish Grill Harborview room. It was an amazing venue, with a wonderful coordinator. The coordinator, Donna, recommended we stay at the Camachee Inn since its literally next door. I booked on her recommendation alone, having never seen the place. I booked the biggest room, room 25, and it was amazing! It was an apartment!! It was huge! Full living room, full dining room, full kitchen that is fully stocked with dishes, and even an oven!! There is a HUGE, huge closet so put anything in, which was great since we had so much wedding stuff. The bedroom was very large, perfect for getting a huge wedding gown on, and the property is so beautiful for the wedding pictures that followed. Even if you aren't getting married, I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The pictures online do NOT do it justice. Its actually so very nice, clean, and quiet. And the daily breakfast next door at Fish Tales is really a treat!! :) If you want a little extra room, and you don't want to fight with downtown traffic, while still being close to everything stay here!! And eat at the Kingfish Grill!! I ate there the day before the wedding, the day of the wedding, and the day after the wedding, because the food is honestly THAT spectacular!! :D
