My girlfriend and I spent a couple nights in the Jasmine studio on the Our House Property. We then made the mistake of moving and spent the following two nights at the Casa Monica Hotel close to the central square.
Our House was superior in many ways. Of course more intimate. A superior room with the decor of the Jasmine Studio. We also had a little outside deck. At Casa Monica you can't open windows nor can you sit on a deck and smoke a cigar. The owner, Dave pays attention to details. In our room there were several servings of coffee(not just one), biscotti, water, a couple chocolates, iron, ironing board etc...all free. Many other things. Staying in the studio is so much more personal than a bigger hotel in town and also you can come and go without bellhops, valets, hotel staff all over your face hoping for tips. (We had to park at Casa Monica hotel and pay $22 per night plus you have to throw the valet a little tip, they also charge for internet service).
We also had breakfast one morning at the B&B. It's included with the B&B rooms but not the studios. A definite must and a great deal. Dave's makes everything fresh....really superb. Fresh homemade juices, great coffee, homemade hotcakes from his own recipe, delicious egg dishes, plate of fruit...you get the idea....
Anyway a great place...with a super host in Dave.
Room Tip: Jasmine studio was great...total independence. I'm sure the rooms in the main B&B house are...
