We arrived on a Friday afternoon and our little poodle, Sammy, was not feeling well. He barfed in our car and at the restaurant we went to for lunch. As soon as we arrived at the B & B I asked the owner (not sure if it was Gibbs or Chuck!) if he knew of a good vet in town. He said he knew his vet was closed at this time, but he suggested St. John's Veterinarian Clinic. We imediatley went there and they were absolutely wonderful! They didn't rip us off and they took such good care of our dog. Upon our departure I thanked him and he said he really hadn't done too much for us (we don't take advantage of the breakfasts, we'd rather sleep in!) and I told him yes he did, he did more for me than any breakfast could have by telling us about the wonderful vet. My dog means very much to me as he was my father's, who recently passed away, so this was the best thing anyone could have done for us. Our room was downstairs below the office. Nice little room, but we would probably go for a bigger one next visit. Loved the decor of our room and it was just really quaint. The B & B is close to everything. Walked everywhere, never had to use our car until we left. We will definately stay there again!!
