John and Jeanne treat you as though you are old friends or family as they wrap you up in their warm and gracious hospitality. The inn is inviting, immaculately clean, and filled with the wonderful aromas of the delicious breakfast - the best in town! - as well as freshly baked cookies and fresh-brewed coffee in the afternoon. Your hosts go out of their way to provide everything you need and are knowledgeable guides to what the city/area has to offer as well. You will not be disappointed! Staying at Carriage Way is our favorite annual get-away.

Having been in the guest house business for some thirty years it was refreshing to find accommodation that ticked all the boxes as the Carriage Way Inn achieved. We were greeted by John who gave us a full run down of what St Augustine had to offer along with some recommendations of where to eat and map of the town. On the way to our room he drew our attention to the complementary drinks on offer and the cookies fresh baked each day by Jeanne. The breakfast was excellent with dishes and breads made from the Carriage Way Inn cook book. Next time we visit St Augustine I would hope to stay at the Carriage Way Inn.

Our second year at this inn. We were greeted like old friends or close family. One of our party became ill and the help she received from the innkeepers was refreshing and appreciated. The inn is always immaculately clean, everything you need is on site, and if there is something else you need they pick it up! Breakfast is exceptional, the best in the city. We have stayed in many St. Augustine inns, this is the best, this is where we will stay for now on.

This is our 4th stay in as many years. Each time was a fabulous experience. Jeanne and John go out of their to make your stay the most memorable. We look around to see what item, appointment or convience is not provided. Complimentary soft drinks, beer, wine, sherry, after-dinner cordial. Cookies or cakes await your return from your days ventures. Someone always seems to be available to assist in making your sightseeing day/evening easy, informative and efficent. The B&B is located in the midst of the Historic District, so you can park free at the Inn and conveniently walk to most sights of interest.
