This property is the only dog friendly hotel in this area. They get a lot of pets here and handle it very well. The included breakfast is not inspiring but is adequate with waffles and very good coffee. Oven quick- prep sausage and eggs on the week-end. Reasonably priced. Room must be animal free for housekeeping but this is easy to work out. Wold reccomend.

I absolutely loved this hotel! Traveling with a husband, 3 teenage boys and 2 small dogs can be a little daunting when finding accommodations ... not at La Quinta! I have stayed at different La Quinta hotels across the southeast US, and I have yet to be disappointed. For a pet friendly hotel, it was very clean and even smelled clean. The room was spacious and brightly furnished. The bed was really comfortable and the extra pillows were a nice touch. The continental breakfast is always a plus when traveling with kids. All in all, great hotel. Can't wait to visit St. Augustine again!

Nice hotel, very clean. Close to downtown St Augustine and to the outlet malls. Right off of
I-95. Just a few things. The mattress pad was stiff and had plastic under it making it very warm. Nor did it stay flat on the bed, it moved when you did. The refrigerator in our room made a constant clicking noise. We had to plug it in during the day while we were not there, but unplug it at night so we could sleep. Our room was on the second floor last one before the ice machine. The exhaust fan in the bathroom flapped intermittenly all night. There was no soap dish in the tub and the toilet paper holder is behind the toilet. Weekday breakfast consisted of make-your-own waffles and hard boiled eggs. Weekends had what appeared to be scrambled eggs and danish. Staff was very pleasant. Never saw housekeeping but the room was always made up to perfection with lots of towels. We would give it another try.

No pet fee. Friendly counter staff placed me on ground floor and close to exit since I had dogs to walk. Large open field to fetch balls. For the more dainty pooches, there is a beautiful winding sidewalk to stroll upon. This hotel is close to restaurants, gas stations and outlet mall so you won't have to leave Fido alone too long.
