Stayed at this hotel for 6 nights on Marriott points. First time in a Springhill Suites. "Suite" is an overly generous description, compared to suites typical of Courtyard and Embassy Suites. A room divided by a half wall (no door inbetween) is a better description. There is a microwave, refrig, and small sink, but no table and chairs for eating in. There are 2 TVs, but if both run at the same time, they compete since there's no door between the 2 areas. Good things about this hotel: location (less than a mile from the Mets spring training stadium, an easy walk to numerous restaurants -- both chain and local, movies, amusement center). It is also convenient to I-95, but far enough from it so noise is not a problem. The hotel is clean, most staff were friendly and helpful. Daily USA Today and local paper, and citrus water in the lobby (all free) were nice touches. Breakfast was good -- liked the real oatmeal (no instant paste in a package) and walnuts, raisins, and fresh fruit. Things that could be improved: TV, microwave, refrig are vintage, but all were in working order. Wish there were a door between the 2 room sections.

My wife and I stayed at the Spring hill Suites for a week while visiting family in the Port St Lucie area. Check in was a breeze. Our room was not ready when we arrived but we did show up two hours early, the room was ready in 30 mins. The room was bigger than most hotel rooms. It was a king suite, split living room and sleeping area. The living area included a desk, pull out couch, refrigerator and microwave. The bed was quite comfortable for me. We used the pool a few times and it is heated, the hot tub is quite small but it defo hot! The hotel provided hot breakfast each morning usually french toast, eggs and sausage. They also had bagles, dry cereal, oatmeal and juices. In the immediate area there are several restraunts and a huge bowling alley. Overall the hotel was a nice retreat when not at the in laws house.

We have stayed several times at this hotel over the past couple of years. The rooms are clean and spacious, the location convenient for us; but it is the friendly, courteous, and helpful staff that stand out. Highly recommended.

Carpets were filthy- my socks were black from walking aroun in room after an hour- toilets r loud,thin walls, noisy area, 1 tiny elevator, tv had awful pic and several channels kept going out- the air units are old and the floor by the bed was completely damp from the air unit, not to mention, it was either freezing or too warm- the staff is nice, the maids clean well aside from the carpet- I stayed at holiday inn exp next door also and it is much better value and very clean- would not stay here again
