“Wonderful, relaxing week”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

Everything was great. We checked in very late and the front desk clerk was very thoughtful. Our room ws nice, pool was great, beautiful area. The dishwasher and washing machine were both really loud. This was easy to solve. I simply started the machines before we left so we weren't there when they were running. All of the employees were extremely friendly and helpful in giving directions and recomendations.
Our favorite activity was Lion Country Safari Park. It was about an hour away but worth it. Very reasonable price (get a brochure with coupon at front desk). Great for kids under 10 and I LOVED feeding the lorakeets.
We also went to Jensen Beach a couple times, about 1/2 hour drive, nice beach.

Always such a great way to start off our week when we read such a wonderful review on Trip Advisor! We will be replacing all kitchen appliances and washer/dryers this year even though they are in very good condition. All of my team members are dedicated to provide each guest with memorable vacation experiences to last a lifetime. Lion Country Safari is a wonderful attraction as you stated. Jensen Beach is a very unique small town with great local restaurants and shops. We look forward to your next stay with us at Sheraton PGA Vacation Resort.

Sincerely,

Chris Egan

“Staff very helpful”

The property is nice, secluded and close to golf and resturants. The staff is attentive and helpful. Avoid a one bedroom unit at all costs, very cramped. The larger units are comfortable and well designed. The furnishing is a bit dated, but of decent quality and clean.
Getting into town is a breeze and the PGA courses are great.

Room Tip: the larger units are a must

Thank you for posting your recent stay on Trip Advisor. We do offer 2 types of one bedroom units as you stated. The Deluxe one bedroom is 450 square foot and also known as the small side of the lock off unit. They do not have a balcony or hot tub but the décor and furnishing are the same as all other units. The Premium one bedroom is 900 square foot and also known as the large side of the lock off unit. It comes equipped with a hot tub and balcony. All units at the resort are equipped with washer and dryers inside the villas. Thank you for posting this valuable information as it will be useful for future guests staying at the resort. We look forward to your next visit with us at Sheraton PGA Vacation Resort.

Sincerely,

“Convenient to the PGA golf courses”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

Resort has been here a while and the rooms show that. Carpet is clean but old. Seems built and still operated as a time-share property. Restaurants etc are nearby but not on the resort.no room service dining. You will need a car or be prepared to walk. Grocery is a mile across I95.

Thank you for posting your feedback on Trip advisor. The Sheraton is going into its 12th year of existence. We completed a major interior renovation just two short years ago which included carpet. We are indeed a Vacation Ownership Resort as you stated and do not provide room service or have a restaurant. However, Sam Snead’s Oak Grill & Tavern is located across the street and is in walking distance. They provide our Sheraton guests with exclusive discounts at their delicious restaurant. We certainly hope that you will give Sheraton PGA Vacation Resort another try to prove we provide the best accommodations and service levels in the PGA Village.

The check in process was fast. Very personable service with amazing people. The 1 bedroom premium villa is like an apartment. Very spacious, great feel to it like home away from home. Will definitely go back if the ocassion arises.

Room Tip: Ist floor I think is a better choice if staying for more than a couple of days as you might go groce...

Thank you for taking the time to post your recent stay with us on Trip Advisor! Our Front Desk Associates are very efficient, knowledgeable and caring. The villa’s here are 1 and 2 bedroom condominiums as you stated. Each building has three floors and an elevator so our guests are not required to use the stairs. We certainly look forward to you next visit with us at Sheraton PGA Vacation Resort.

“Less Hectic Florida”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 January 2012

Much of Florida can be hectic - theme parks, busy beaches and lots of tourists. If you want to play some golf and get some sun without all the hassles that come with the area, this is the hotel for you.

You will need a car. There are lots of great restaurant choices nearby but not in the resort. There is a full kitchen in each room so a trip to the grocery store will let you have breakfast or other meals in to help with the budget - or the diet.

The pool is small and more hotel than resort in style. Get towels at the front desk.

The decor is beautiful - very homey. There is a dvd player in the living room so bring some movies. The sofa in the living room (yes, all rooms are multi-room) is a pull out sleeper. The bathroom/master bedroom is large and well appointed. Flat screen televisions (2 in our unit) and free wi-fi.

Staff was courteous and helpful. Nice, low-key experience. Perfect for those who want to take advantage of the Florida sun in a less hectic environment.

Thank you for posting your recent stay here at Sheraton PGA Vacation Resort on Trip Advisor. As you stated this is a hassle free Resort and a great place just to unwind/relax. We always recommend as you did to rent a car to get around. The climate controlled swimming pool however, is 100,000 gallons and can certainly accommodate the only 42 villas. I will be sure to share your kind words with our team members at our next monthly celebration luncheon which is this Friday. We look forward to your next stay here with us in the very near future.
