We stayed here for a 3 day golf getaway. The room was quiet, the bed very comfortable, and the service excellent, although there was some confusion at the front desk bothy when we checked in and out over what was included in our package. Also--they charge an outlandish amount for internet access---I refused to use it----come on Marriott!!!--this is the 21st century!

I have been to this place before but this stay was an improvement over others. For one thing the rooms in the main building seem to be more nicely appointed than the ones in the villa buildings. For another, if you are a woman traveling alone, the villas just feel a little more isolated.

The room had a very comfortable king-sized bed and large bathroom. The only downside to the bathroom from my standpoint is that the glazed glass french doors to the bathroom do not have a hook in place for me to hang my toiletry bag. In fact, there is no hook anywhere in the bathroom for that.

The room is well outfitted with a desk and office chair and an arm chair. There is more than enough lighting and was quiet. This room did not have a balcony or patio but you could open the sliding glass door (with some difficulty) to get some fresh air in the room (which was a little stuffy feeling when I entered).

I was here on business and did not really use the facilities but the food served at the meeting I attended was very well prepared.

I do think that the $20 valet parking fee is a little over the top for a place where the parking garage is bit of a distance from the hotel. A woman traveling alone would not feel safe walking from the garage at night and so having to pay the fee is not really an option but a requirement.

We live near this hotel and frequent often.

Front desk, wait staff, belllman, housekeeping and bar staff were all excellent. We ate at the lobby bar, pub and cabana restaurants ...all were good.
We have stayed at the villas and the hotel. This time in the hotel with a suite on the 5th floor. Absolutely beautiful 4 poster, comfortable bed. Greast bathroom with huge tub. New carpeting and furniture. This is an older hotel and they did a great job updating the room. My only complaint with the room was the TV -- they were the small, old TVs that you just don't see in hotels anymore. We have become spoiled and had a hard time even watching it.
The lobby needs updating, but the view of the waterfall and atrium area is beautiful, so it isn't a dealbreaker.
