Went for a meeting. The front lobby is OK.The staff is very friendly. Room on the top floor per our request) was fair. The room was fairly clean. Bed is a bit too soft for our taste. Adequate pillows and towels. They still have popcorn ceiling at this place!! The hotel itself shows its age. The breakfast (additional cost) early in AM was fairly good. A bit too far from any "action". Noise from the ice machine and mechanical room on the third floor was rather excessive. The carpet in the hallway is a bit worn and becomes pretty dirty by evening. Our electronic keys kept denying entry -- making us go down to reception and get it "recharged". A/C in the room is noisy side.
The owners need to reconsider renovating this place to keep up the name of MARRIOTT.

I forgot to check the reviews before booking this hotel, and was a little worried after I checked. However, the hotel was clean, the staff was attentive, and the location was convenient for food and running. Breakdown: Cleanliness: I never made it to the pool or exercise room, but the lobby, dining area, and room were clean and well kept. The decor was dated, but it's not like I spent more time inside then it took to sleep and eat breakfast. Staff: the desk staff checked me in quickly and helped when I repeatedly forgot my room key in my room, what more did I need. Location: it took only 20 minutes to get to the ocean, lots of chain restaurants nearby, a mall and Barnes and Nobles, and easy running routes. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again without a second thought.

My son and I recently stayed at this property while in town for The Orange Bowl. I cannot say enough about the staff. They went up and beyond to make us feel welcome and to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay. The location is wonderful. Very safe area surrounded by many shopping and dining choices. The property was beautiful. Pool/courtyard area very nice. Definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel is clean and near restaurants but is boring. Rooms need a makeover. Tight quarters for a family of four.
