I gave this hotel a 2 rating because the lobby was quite large, breakfast was included and in a restaurant on premises, and breakfast was upgraded continental, and also because Denny’s and a small shopping mall are on the same property. Otherwise, I would give it a 1. I stayed 6 days January 5th 10th, 2011. My room was awful. The carpet had several black stains. By day 2 or 3, I finally picked up 2-3 hairballs that had been there since day 1, so obviously no vacuuming was done. And I feel quite sure it had not been vacuumed up until I left – and probably not thereafter either !!! The tub was not clean and was overall grey in color – as if it had never been scrubbed or even cleaned. Inside the tub was a rubber tub mat used to prevent slipping. It was glued in some fashion to the bottom of the tub. The mat was totally filthy grey. In fact, I placed a towel over the mat each time I showered as to prevent my bare feet from touching it. The shower-head was pink with mildew. Ewwwww. It was yucky thinking about the water flowing down on me through pink mildew. While I did sleep good on the bed, upon sitting on the bed it was quite rickety. I was in Florida to attend a funeral. So every day, I was out of the room early and back late. I did phone the front desk on day 3 to voice my concerns and see if there was another room available. I was told nothing was available but to check back the next day. I did not have an opportunity to do so because every time I went to the desk, they were assisting another guest and after waiting 10-15 minutes, I left because I had things to do. And no one phoned me to follow-up. My last evening there, I asked the front desk for extra bathroom tissue as mine was running low. The girl asked the maintenance man to look for tissue. He came back a few minutes later unable to find any because housekeeping was locked and all he could find were half used rolls which he did not want to bring to me. The girl politely told me I would have to wait until the morning. Seriously ??? I then asked for a box of tissues. She was able to find one lone box somewhere in the front desk area. Good thing, too. Because it didn’t take long for the partial roll I had to run out. Finally, on the morning I was leaving, there was no hot water. I got up at 4 and left at 6. No hot water the entire tine. Thank goodness it was at least lukewarm, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to shower in ice cold water. So I showered with only the hot water turned on, which as I said was lukewarm.

After I returned home, I phoned and emailed customer service with my complaints. And they did refund me one night’s stay. I would also like to mention that my sister also had a room. Her room was better. Her tub was slightly cleaner than mine and her shower head was not at all pink.

Also, please note that all the rooms are on the outside. So depending on where your room is located, there may be a lot of walking to get to and from your room.

Wonderful for who wants to go to Sawgrass Mall, and only that! The hotel needs a renew and seems like a Super 8 Motel!

I am from the Caribbean and I have been to this hotel at least once per year for the past 3 years. On each occasion, the staff has always been friendly (however there were instances where the front desk was not as helpful as they could have been but nothing egregious); the breakfast isn't anything to rave about but it was sufficient (in any event, Denny's is next door) and the rooms were clean (the bed- comfortable).

I have taken full advantage of the shuttle service- always on time and the drivers were very courteous.

I think it's an excellent place to stay in for the price and the amenities that you are getting (especially the free shuttle service). I am going there again later this year and look forward to my stay!

My trip was a short trip, since I was on business , and due to this location was a key factor when choosing a hotel, found this hotel on the web, and I was not sure of the type of hotel , i must say i was very please with the hotel , rooms was clean , price of room was fare and included continental breakfast , and staff was extremely helpful.
