The reception clerk offered a good deal on the phone, so I stayed for two nights in this location. Some people were cooking (which is OK as all rooms have kitchens) and the heavy smell was all over the room I have stayed. The key cards were so bad that I had go to the reception three times to get one open my door on the second day. They were helpful, but asked not to keep the card close to mobile phone, as the phone signals wipes all information in "cheap" cards... On my last morning I got up early, but there was a noisy repair outside the building facade or roof that started at 8:00 AM and probably waked up all customers...
Better than two but hardly 3 stars..

“Not the best but not the worse”
We stayed here because the extended stay on 17th street overbooked and offered us to stay for free. We were there only two nights before a cruise. We would have never paid to stay there if it wasnt free because it is very far from the cruise port and everything else that most tourists want to do. We did not find the people that worked there very friendly either. It go to be cumbersome trying to communicate with this hotel and the hotel on the 17th street. We had to constantly call to get things straightened out because the hotel that offered us the free night there were not very friendly either. I would not stay here again. The area also looked very shady at night. The only thing close is the mall. Would not recommend for someone who is not renting a car. It was a $40.00 taxi ride each way. from this hotel to downtown Fort Lauderdale where the beach and other things to do are at.
