Great stay! Front desk was very professional and classy. Breakfast was ok, but room service was better than expected. Plenty of food choices within walking distance. Clean room and wi-fi was a breeze. Nice pool and fitness 24 hrs. Spacious room. Overall excellent experience. I wish the rooms had microwave but fridge was nice touch.

We have stayed at this Hotel three times , 2009(4 nights), 2010(7nights), 2011 (4nights) and really enjoyed it.
The staff is always friendly and helpful. The shuttle service to the Broward and Saw Grass mall is very efficient and reliable which we did although we had a car as well for more flexibility.
A great place to stay; it is quiet and peaceful and in the middle of almost everywhere you may want to go: sightseeing or shopping and the restaurants.
Ask for Jose he is the Mananger but is always willing to assist us. The shuttle bus driver Lewis was great and he 'sang' for our two sons they were thrilled!!

Stayed there before a cruise in Dec to explore the Ft Lauderdale Shopping.
Great location, 10 mins to the beach area and 5 mins to Sawgrass Mills (Shopping Heaven)

Clean rooms, big and comfy, typical Hyatt Place, caters to families or convenient living instead of overpricred hotel rooms.

Continental Breakfast and Wifi Internet included, free parking, helpful front desk staff. Never charged a penny for any printing or computer+printer usage.

Outdoor Pool, ample parking, local restaurants and fastfood with 5 mins drive and a few within 5 mins walk.

For the money amazing Value and clean fresh bright rooms.

My husband, I and our four year old son stayed at the Hyatt Place over New Year's for two nights. We have been traveling to the Davie/Plantation area for more than thirty years, but have always stayed with relatives -- this was our first time in a hotel in that area, and we will definitely return. The room we had was huge, and had lots of room for my son to play, and for us to go through all of our purchases at the nearby Sawgrass Mills Outlet Mall. The hotel was very clean, the staff was helpful and friendly, and it was only a short distance from the Florida Panthers hockey arena in Sunrise, where we attended a game (free parking!!!). It's also a 25 minute drive from Sun Life Stadium where the Miami Dolphins play, but drive time will be longer on game days (as we found out). There are also plenty of great restaurants within a short drive of the hotel (Mario the Baker on North University Drive has been a family favorite for generations). There were several other families staying at the hotel when we were there -- apparently attending soccer tournaments -- but we never felt like the building was too loud, or overrun with kids. We only made a short visit to the area this time, but we will consider staying longer in our future travels because of the convenience and comfort we experienced.
