The front desk was very friendly and helpful. The housekeepers smiled at us, which is rare. The rooms were tidy. I would definitely recommend this hotel to people.

If youre looking for luxury accomodations look elsewhere. HOWEVER, if you are looking for a good nights sleep on soft clean beds, good free wireless internet service and a cheap and cheerful breakfast and location isnt the peak isue then this is the place.

Plenty of places to eat in short driving distance, mcdonalds, wing house. A walmart just down the street for supplies.

The current management seems to have their act together, the housekeepers show up before 11 am and they listen when you say come back later and dont knock if you put the do not disturb on the door. The air conditioning was nice and cold the way I like it.

Some reviewers gripe about the packaged stuff for breakfast, it just means you dont have to worry about milk gone bad or picked through items and its free.

The wireless internet managed 1 mbps which was faster and more reliable than the bayfront hilton which was the convention hotel. The beds were more comfortable than some marriotts ive stayed and the curtains close nice and dark so you can sleep in late.

As I have dogs, I stay at LaQuinta a lot---have been to all in this area. This one is by far the most disappointing. The rooms are old--the location on a busy highway is unpleasant. The staff was polite, but no friendlier than they had to be---none of the extra effort that I am used to at other LaQuintas. The breakfast was the poorest I ever found at a La Quinta-individually wrapped bread and bakery products very unappetizing and unappealing Other than a few individual boxes of cereal, that is about all they have to offfer They are obviously trying to hold the line on expenses, but it really has the effect of making you not want to come back. I have been back in the area since, and made sure to avoid this one. there are several other LaQuintas in the close area, which I would recommend over this one any time.

This place is a dump. Holes in the carpet in the room. The room itself smelled like stale cigarettes. It didn't look like it had been dusted in ages. Its also right by the highway, so you hear a lot of road noise. The only thing good about this hotel is the checkin as it was quick and easy.
