As a whole, this hotel wasn't bad. I stayed here on business, and took it for the cheap price and location near where I was working out of. The rooms were comfy, and the staff was friendly and easy to work with. The place had shown some age, but the rooms were still clean. I've been to a few La Quintas in the past, and generally I try to avoid them due to roach infestations or bed bugs. This place didn't have these issues, and was good for the price. The only issues I did have were with the other people staying there, who seemed a bit shady.

I agree with most other recent reviews. The rooms are dated, but clean. There was a nice flat screen tv in the room, but everything else including the bed was old. I read about traffic noise in one of the reviews, so I asked for a quiet room. I was given a room on the first floor right next to the lobby. It did not face the road, but I thought I would get lots of noise from people coming and going from the lobby. I was surprised that I was not disturbed at all by outside noise.

The breakfast, as everything else about the hotel was very basic. Free wi-fi worked okay. I found it much easier to enter and exit from the back of the property onto the much less crowded frontage road to Park Blvd. If I needed to go in the opposite direction I still entered onto Park and made a u turn at the first opportunity. It was much easier than dealing with Hwy 19.

I paid less than $40 per night. I believe at that price the hotel was a good value and I would stay again if the price is right.

The rooms are very clean and hotel is kept up very well. The free breakfast is basic but good. The pool is nothing to brag about, very small. It is in the heart of the city and you can walk to the mall and many different restaurants.

Older LQ, off the expressway, takes a few turns to get into the property due to road changes but easily figured out. Rooms clean, pet friendly but you sign a two page pet waiver (usually only one sheet if that), outdoor pool, clean. Breakfast LQ usual BUT no waffel maker... don't know if it's out of service or if they don't have one. I think from the prepackaged "waffles", they don't. Convenient to our family for a visit so would stay again.
