We were pleasantly surprised (and relieved) when we rented a room here for 2 nights. We went to the Florida panhandle for canoeing not to stay in a luxury hotel, but did want something clean and safe. It was. Our room was very large (great for all our paddling equipment), AC worked well, nice pillows and the room appeared updated with granite counter, new light fixtures and tile floor. Close to the interstate amidst several hotels, motels and restaurants. Didn't eat the continental breakfast because we wanted something more substantial. Now if you want a luxury hotel with nice linens and high-end amenities, this isn't it. For a motel room in the $40s, I'd easily rate it Very Good.

We pulled in to this hotel late one night, after trying many others in several cities, only to find them totally booked. We were skeptical, because it didn't look great from the outside, but when we looked at the room prior to booking, we were pleasantly surprised. It had been updated and was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.

Most hotels were booked for the fouth of July weekend. We were so relieved to find this reasonably priced hotel.
The rooms look nice, clearly remodeled. After a shower I discovered the towel was dirty, red stains all over it!!! Horrible. The other towels were clean...
Climbing into bed we discover they didn't give blankets just the bedspread. Ick!!!

If I had been the one to book this room, I would have demanded my money back. I was extremely disappointed in this excuse of a hotel. The ceilings were stained, parking close to your room was never a guarantee since some guests double parked their vehicles. There were insects crawling around in the bathroom, which had black mold in multiple places, and the beds were not very comfortable. Each time I went to the lobby, I never saw a desk clerk available. Save your money and stay somewhere else. This is one place I will not be returning to stay at.
