I stayed here overnight this past weekend. The pros: good price, fresh and new, lost of amenities for travelers staying for a while(clothes basket, dishwasher detergent, etc.), pleasant staff.
The cons: paper-thin walls(I could hear the cell-phone ring and be answered in the next room), and "breakfast-to-go" which means boxes of cereal, prepackaged muffins, and fruit.

We stayed here to catch a few days at the beach and a day at a nearby state park. The room wasn't very large, but it was still plenty of room to move around and for us to sprawl all of our stuff out on. The continental breakfast in the lobby was well-stocked, and it was nice to have all that kitchenette space. It was very comfortable. The only downside was the lack of a bathtub--I guess I didn't realize that from the hotel description on their website.

very clean and modern suites, option to cook, cooker, micro wave, dishwasher and large fridge freezer, why don't we have suite hotels in the uk?

Small pool, clean, also with a bbcue.

Very helpfull staff, only downside, not too many local eateries

My husband and I stayed at the TownePlace Suites the first weekend in October. The hotel itself looks nice. The rooms were clean and relatively updated. The front desk staff was very helpful. The only real downside is the location. The mall across the street looks rundown and shady. Though I never felt unsafe in the hotel, I would probably look for another part of town the next time I stay in Pensacola.
