We stayed there last Saturday night in a whirlpool suite. The hotel was quaint, quiet and conveniently located. The room itself was clean and suited our needs just fine for the night. On the downside, we weren't able to use the jets in the whirlpool -- as soon as we turned them on we were attacked by chunks of mildew that resided inside the plumbing (gross!). My wife jumped out with impressive, cat-like reflexes and we let the jets run for about 10-minutes before draining and wiping out the tub. We repeated the process with the same results and just gave up on using the jets.

When we reported the problem to the front desk during checkout the girl behind the desk was dismissive, abrupt and non-apologetic. When my wife suggested running bleach through the system she told us, "They do use bleach to clean them." Wow. We weren't rude, we weren't complaining, and we didn't ask for a refund or a discount. A simple, "I'm sorry about that - I'll let housekeeping know," would've been sufficient.

Because of her reaction alone, we're unlikely to stay again. This is the hospitality industry after all, so while we can excuse the mildew, we'll not excuse rudeness from the staff.

Used points last minute for getaway. Wasnt sure since it was not beachfront but was pleasantly surprised at how convienient it was to everything. Great service and room was clean. It is right next to walmart and the clubs and beach is very close. I would definately stay here again if I was going to stay non beachfront

This hotel is located close to the stip but not on it. I made the reservation online and check in was a breeze the room was really big and everything was clean. the pool was directly below my room. The Hotel is right accross the street from a Super Walmart. Only about a mile from the waterpark. Overall the stay was great. the only complaint is that the pool closes at 10pm, that seemed a bit early to me. i would recomment it for a family stay. Breakfast was the standard extended with biscuits and waffels.

Wonderful staff and service but the rooms are run down and for that the price is to high! The beds were VERY Comfortable and I slept well! If I had paid $179.00 like they wanted at first I would have been VERY upset. But even $100 is to much for a rundown room. I have been to hostels that were cleaner and nicer. GREAT Veiw of the Canal and I am very grateful to wake up and see that.
