We had a one night stay in room 312 during late December. Some overall thoughts: if you need a bed to sleep in, want a breakfast in the morning, and can bear being about a mile from the beach - then this Country Inn certainly suits your needs. As a hotel experience though, it was nothing more than average.
Most people know that Panama City Beach Hotels suffer from high traffic stays (spring breaks). The Country Inn, while looking nice on the outside, suffers as well. Our room had a mildewed smell A/C, a few carpet stains and during our stay there was a problem with the water pipes so dirt came out of the faucets for 2 or 3 minutes of first running.
Bed was comfortable and we found the linens and towels to be clean. Lastly, the continental breakfast is pretty much standard certainly not too nutritious - mostly cereal, danish, waffles and muffins - but some fresh O.J. and a banana at least gives you something.
The hotel sits across the street from a Walmart, a bit tucked away, and probably a mile from the beach and through the major streets. Were I to need a hotel again, I would look to another chain in this area.
