We rented a two bedroom two bath condo on the 8th floor over Labor Day and it was everthing we wanted! Beautiful decorating,..large balcony with a table for four, ..flat screen tv's in the bedroom. and living room. . only two issues I would mention is that the pool closes too early (10 pm) and the shower/bathtub didn't drain well. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

Our stay at the Emerald Isle Resort was well worth the 16 hour drive. The owners of 1607 have created a lovely, welcoming condo for their renters! The 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo was stocked with every amenity we could possibly need including towels/linens, a full kitchen, TV's, stereo, and a very handy washer and dryer. Bedrooms are spacious and each bedroom has its own full bath.

The balcony overlooking the beach is spacious and quiet with enough tables and chairs to have a pre-dinner cocktail party! Sunrise and Sunset on the water is breathtaking. It was great fun to watch kids on the beach late at night with flashlights looking for sea creatures!

We never had to wait for the elevators and the building is very soundproof. Once down the elevator we were right near our car and steps away from the beach. Being right on the beach was an added plus! A word about the beach - BEAUTIFUL! We had no problem renting very comfortable lounge chairs or umbrellas.

Our condo had a wonderful binder filled with Restaurant menus, brochures for activites in the area, maps and sightseeing information. We were never bored or looking for things to do because it was right at our fingertips.

I would highly recommend Emerald Isle and if you get to pick - Suite 1607!

DO NOT STAY HERE!! My family stayed at Emerald Isle over the 2010 Memorial Day weekend and were very dissatisfied. TThis was our first and last visit. The parking areas were horrific. There is parking on beach side and across the beach both of which I had problems with. The beach side parking garages were a joke. There were probably 40 spaces each on 2 separate levels, BUT there was only one way in. If you could not find a spot, you had to BACK OUT of the parking garage because there was no where to turn around. OK, parking across the road was only marginally better. You can turn around, however, there are 3 flights of stairs from the bottom ground level and one flight from the top level to get to the walk over. So, there is no way you can park here and load or unload - no elevator. I have a baby and a preschooler so we have lots of gear. No way to climb that many stairs with kids, groceries, beach toys, suitcases, etc. You get the point.
Now on to the pool area - POOR POOR POOR!!! There are two but they are very small. Most home pools are larger. There were only 14 chairs around one pool and 8 at the other. This is a 23 story condo and only 22 total chairs. On one side of the pool is the parking garage and on the other are sand dunes. If you like to relax by the pool, but look at the beach..forget it. The only view your going to get is of someone's SUV.
The room was the only nice thing and it was beautiful. But I didnt go to the beach to sit in the room. I like the relaxing atmosphere of a nice pool and the beach. There are too many really nice condos at PC to waste your time or money at this one....go somewhere else.

We stayed in Condo #1502 managed by Best Beach Getaways. We never wanted to leave. It has all of the comforts of home. Flat screen in living room with Blue Ray Player. The entire condo was emmaculate and gorgeously decorated. We cooked on the grill 4 nights while we were there. The Kitchen had everything you needed. View was awesome. High speed internet etc. It is located on the quieter end of the beach not far from Pier Park. We can't wait to go back.
