We loved it! great location ! Condo was above and beyond what we thought it would be. We will be staying here again. It is right in the center of PCB! I could not have ask for more! The elevators worked great and didn't seem any slower than anyother elevator i have been on. The pool was lovely, we hung out here a good bit. I loved that it wasnt so crowed. But it is very nice! For info on the condo we rented go to mike and buffy maddens condos via google.. They are great! I even got to visit with them, when i was unable to figure out the tv remote. Mike an Buffy happen to be in PCB, so they came right over and showed me how to work it.. (it wasn't hard to work! it was just me!!) ANYWAY, STEERLING REEF RESORT WAS GREAT AND I WILL STAY AGAIN!!

My husband and I went to Panama City Beach in June and had a wonderful stay at this condo. The living room and master bedroom had a gorgeous view of the ocean and pool below. The rooms were clean and kitchen well stocked for supplies.The pool was clean and not overcrowded most days. Access to the beach was convenient and chairs could be rented for $25/day for a double. The down side was WIFI was not free and occ the elevator was a bit slow, but overall worth the money. We would definitely stay here again. We have often said we wish we were back there already!

In this life results come from the choices we make and these people choose to not tell you the truth. When they say your room is on 5 th floor it really means 8 th floor. We have wifi means it's extra$$$. The beds were absolutely terrible! The shower rod fell they said they would send maintenance to come replace it, not!! I went to walmart and bought the replacement:-/. 1 of The 2 elevators was broken on conveniently check out morning. Who builds a hotel with 18 floors and 2 elevators?!?! We were told there was a hot tub but, there is not one. Our trip outside of Sterling Reef was fantastic we will not do it again though, I can't recommend this place:-(

We were there when I believe its considered "high season" so my first issue is with the elevators, how the builder would believe 2 elevators would serve that many condos is crazy...I highly suggest requesting a lower floor so you can walk down.
Secondly, the pools are small and the fact that the building it literally 5 feet from it makes it appear even smaller and not that appealing.
Third, we had some issues with the condo that took days to fix which was unacceptable. the biggest issue was the garbage disposal was broken and it took 4 days to get it changed, on the last day there was a fairly bad smell coming from it.
On the positive side, I did not hear any noise from the street that some complained about, the pool and the beach area was not that crowded even though you could tell the resort was busy. Condo was large and comfortable, balcony was large as well. You can see some signs the condos is aging like worn/dirty carpet, that I would assume depends on the specific condo and owners upkeep.
Directly in front of the hotel on the beach you can rent wave runners, banana boats and parasailing.
If you like a smaller resort and are not overly concerned with the pool this is an Ok place to stay.
