I did Ironman Florida on November 3rd. Because of injuries, I didn't book my hotel stay until very late in the game, when many of the places close to the Boardwalk Beach Resort (where the race is headquartered) were already booked solid. I found Sterling Beach on the web, and ended up renting a 3 bed, 2 bath condo. Honestly, it was a fantastic deal. We were on the 16th floor, and had a beautiful view of the beach. The place was very modern, clean, and had everything we needed. I had never rented a condo before, but had always stayed in hotels. This was a great experience. One of my friends who came down to watch me in the race signed up for next year, and we agreed to get the exact same room if we could do it! I didn't actually go in the pool (I had to train in the ocean) but it sure looked nice. My wife used the gym, and she liked it. It's convenient to everything we needed, and the place across the street (the Shaggy Marlin) was fun to watch the Pats play the Colts the day after the race. I'd definitely recommend this place.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I think that should be reserved for truly outstanding, world class places. I also don't have a basis for comparison with other condo rentals. Still, this place was a great deal, better by far than most hotels I've stayed at (and I've stayed at a number of very nice places).

“Beautiful Condo and a Beach Wedding too!”

Gorgeous condo and excellent service--it was a treat to be able to stay here and go just a few miles down the road to the state park for the beach wedding we all came down from North Carolina for. Rooms were very spacious, absolutely beautiful views and the beach was very clean. We booked Emerald Coast Beach Weddings for the wedding and they recommended Sterling Beach as a wonderful place to stay....April at Emerald Coast Beach Weddings was right about Sterling Beach and the wedding was perfect too (no rain!!! yeah!)

From the moment we stepped inside, the view was spectacular. We were in unit #1601 which afforded us the 12 ft. floor to ceiling wall of windows to the beautiful ocean view and also an amazing view of the bay to the front of the unit.
The 2400+ sq.ft., 3BR/3BA allowed 6 adults and 2 children more than enough room to relax or play without feeling cramped or running into each other. The decor and furnishings were very nice and up to date, and not the cheap "beachy" stuff you usually see. The kitchen and laundry room with full-size W/D were large and well equipped (lacked a blender though). Also, two of the bedrooms were "Master Suites" with very large, luxurious bathrooms.
Since we were there after peak season, we enjoyed the large pool and didn't have to fight over lounge chairs, and especially enjoyed the unique jacuzzi area that was incorporated into one end of the pool.
I've been to PCB many times and have stayed at many different resorts there and Sterling Beach outshines them all by far. We're already planning our trip for next year and will definitely be staying at Sterling Beach.

Sterling Beach Condos was AMAZING!! The condo that we were in was amazing!!! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! Extremlely NICE and WONDERFUL VIEW TO THE BEACH!! We couldnt ask for more, it was the most elegant and the nicest condo ive ever seen!!!!! The pool was also large and very nice, wonderful place to hang out!!! And since the beach is a private beach it made it wonderful to just lay back and relax and have a GREAT TIME!!! I would DEFINITELY recommend this place to anyone who stays in panama!!

I just wanted to say that Sterling is great. Our room was adorable and so neat and clean. You will love it. It is a great place for familes. I will stay there again if I ever go back to Panama City.
