I've bene to three different Hampton inns in Florida last summer and I was appalled at how a big chain set in an area famous for its hot weather could have such old, rattling and noisy AC systems. The noise keeps you awake at night. The pools have a ridiculously high temperature and don't look clean. Overall a far too expensive chain for what's on offer

We booked to stay one night as we drove towards orange beach. The staff were so friendly and helpful we booked for a 2nd night. The beach was in easy walking distance from the hotel not more than 10 minutes;
The room we had was large and clean.
The breakfast was great and it was different each morning

We booked to stay 1 night on our way from Clearwater to Orange Beach. We stayed two nights. The hotel staff were great, they were both helpful and made us feel very welcome.
The hotel was not far from the beach about 10 minute walk. The breakfast was very good and different on both mornings.
The room was very clean with lots of space

I stay at a lot of Hilton properties on a regular basis and this was one of the oldest I have seen. Slow drain in the shower and paint peeling near the roof.
