Great price, and the rooms reflect that. The service didn't though; the staff was excellent, 9/10.

All the hotels were booked. We decided at the last minute to stay. It was an average hotel, but overpriced. I was glad that we were only there a few hours.

I stayed at this Holiday Inn Express for a business trip to attend a training seminar hosted there. Service was terrible in the restaurant! I waited 45 minutes both days I was there for a bowl of outmeal, never got a coffee refill and rarely saw any wait staff even though there where only seven people at tables at the time. When I kept asking the waitress for a coffee refill and how long it would be before I got my order she kept saying they where really busy. Couldn't figure that one out! the room was OK but the whole facility was quite outdated and in need of an upgrade. I will be looking to something else if I need to go to Panama City again. Panama City was a great place to visit, though. They have beautiful beaches and parks and great opportunities for scuba, boating, etc...

The staff was wonderful. So very helpful. BUT...the pillows were AWFUL! Housekeeping was prompt to replace them with feather ones but if you're allergic, take your own. The HVAC units are old and very noisy and you have to run it continuously because of the heat. We asked for an extra blanket and it was a LOL when they brought it. It was see-through it was so thin. The restaurant is dark and dim and terribly uninviting. We never saw anyone in there not even anyone in our party! Needs updating desperately. The food service hours were a joke. 6-9 am and pm, Sat/Sun, 6-10 in the morning. There is a great House of Waffles, (seriously) just a few minutes away that we loved for breakfast. We were there for a wedding and were getting a group rate. If you have to stay there, heed my advice :)
