I was very pleased with the cleanliness of our room and the hospitality of the staff. When we take a trip to the beach all we need is a place to sleep, shower and dress and the Days Inn Central was perfect. It was just a short drive to the beach and close to tons of restaurants and attractions. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spotless. We didn't use the pool since we were at the beach most of the time but it seemed clean and there were always several people enjoying it. Great stay.

this was the worst place i have ever stayed at. they charged me more money the day we checked in. then on the second day the cleaning people left our door open. we told the attendent and he told us that he din't dought it. they put us in the miffle of a bunch of construction workers. they stayed up late outside our room smoking, xursing and drinking beer. we tried calling the attendent on duty and no one would answer the phone. we stayed in a non=smoking room that smelled like smoke. i will never stay ther again.

I checked in since this was one of the last available rooms on a busy friday night. Immediately i started noticing problems. The bed sheets felt slightly damp, like they hadn't been thoroughly dried. The blanket had holes in it. All of the walls needed painting, and in the bathroom the walls had been patched with spackle but never painted. The toilet wasn't bolted firmly to the floor. Then the really disgusting stuff: when I went to take a shower, I found someone's used washcloth from the previous night hanging atop the shower curtain! And after my shower, I came out to find a cockroach on the wall. That was it. I checked out immediately. I had to drive more than an hour back to I-10 to find a vacancy, but I simply couldn't have gone to sleep in that room. At least the front desk staff was nice, and refunded my money. But you shouldn't have to pay $100 for a dirty room with roaches!

Basically, we reserved our room through an online reservation service two weeks before our trip. When we arrived they informed us that they had just given the room away and did not have another one for us. When we asked why they gave up the room they said that they had someone else who wanted to stay there, so they ran the credit card we used to reserve our room and claimed it declined. Thus, we were turned away and had to find another place to stay during spring break! Luckily,we ended up finding the last room at another hotel, even though this room was more expensive. When this hotel ran the credit card, it was approved immediately. Furthermore, when we complained to the Days Inn company we were not offered any compensation and were given the run around. Do not attempt to stay here!
