-The staff was aweful! Even the staff at the restaraunt was rude! Everybody seemed so unhappy to be there.
-The rooms were very outdated. Stained carpets, old furniture. Ancient a/c units.

We came to the Sailfish Marina to celebrate New years. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, days earlier than planned, we were dissappointed. We arrived after the reservationist had gone home and the girls who greeted us at the desk were extremely rude. The girl had some trouble finding a room and finally just rolled her eyes handed us a key, exclaiming "whatever!" and sent us on our way.

We get to our extremely outdated room and are too exhausted to complain about our $165 a night rate. I jumped in a shower, which I soon learned had a clogged drain. I was up to my ankles in water. Then my boyfriend used the restroom and the toilet began overflowing. We packed up our belongings and walked up to the main building to demand another room.

Well the door was locked and there was a # to call for help. We called and were helped by a security guard, who happened to be the nicest person we dealt with. We moved to another room but were told we would have to be out the next morning because it was rented to someone else. The toilet in that room clogged too but we were too tired to deal with it that night.

The next morning we spoke to a reservationist who gave us another room, and after much resistance, reduced our rate for all of our troubles. After we got settled into our new room we learned that we had yet another problem toilet. It would not stop running and soon started overflowing. That was just from me giving it a test flush for goodness sakes!

We packed up and moved yet again. We stayed one more night then got out of there. Worst vacation of my life!

The stay was nice, the property very cool and the marina was great but, the rooms could use some help. A little money invested for interior room decor would go along way with how the resort is perceived. I travel to the Bahamas by boat often and if any of you have stayed with Rosie~ this is Heaven!! My female travel companion was not impressed with the rooms. Everything else she loved! Peanut Island and the water taxi to Clamatis made up for it though. All in all, we will be back.

Had lunch with family at the sail fish. Cocktails week as usual,
drink beer instead they cant water that down.

Very disappointed after staying march 15-16 for weekend getaway. The biddy old front desk help were very rude and short. They looked over worked and bothered most of time. The marina was absolutely awesome, and close to Peanut Island. Feeding the fish from the docks was very cool for my 9yr old boy. The rooms were small, cozy, and clean. However, if you plan on getting out of the heat to some AC, the room air conditioner was to small to even cool a closet- only time it cooled was midnight when temp. dropped. The restuarant was was unbelievably good. The food was incredible, but so was the PRICE. Expect to spend double for the food! coffee=3.00/ beer=12.00 six pack. dinner prices were 28.00 plate. Breakfast was 17.00 for buffet. We docked a 17ft boat. 55.00/night! Things added up fast. Service was ok. If you plan on sleeping here, Forget it! The restaurant/Bar was adjacent to all rooms and The party goes on all night!!! So loud outside of room, I called police at 1am. There was a party in the parking lot outside our door. People breaking beer bottles, etc.. This is a total Marlin fishing destination for serious fishermen. Not family friendly. Dont expect any service. Your on your own. Good Luck.!
