“Best waterfront deal!”

Stayed here 1/28 thru 1/30 2 nites. If you are looking to be in a water front hotel this is by far the cheapest and cleanest hotel you are going to find. $139 per nite with a AAA discount and you are across the street from the beach on the water inlet side. Believe me I searched for 2 weeks for a clean, highly ranked hotel on the ocean or across the street from the ocean for under $150 and this is all I found. Everything else that was nice was over $200 per nite. For $139 per nite you are getting a great deal. The hotel is not perfect, but well maintained and clean for a chain hotel. I am a very picky traveler and do not like most hotels I stay in but this one passes the test. My room had 2 queen beds your average room size and nice and clean. The service at the front desk was great they were very accommodating. The free breakfast was good but limited. The pool area was nice, not huge, but had good sun exposure to lay out. The location was good but palm beach downtown shops and restaurants is a 10 minute drive north on ocean blvd. Otherwise there are a few restaurants over the bridge in downtown Lake Worth. We ate in Palm Beach at Testa's I highly recommend eating here! Food was good and they have a early bird special before 6:00pm, $15 pp for one appetizer, 2 entrees, and desert what a great deal especially in palm beach. Overall a nice hotel, but not a fancy 5 star Hilton or JW Marriott. This hotel is good for a short stay 3 nites or less if you are passing through. I could not stay here a week or more just too small of a hotel.

Room Tip: get a room facing south or west you will have a water view and sun. The rooms facing north have a v...

“PALM BEACH A thrifty, charming stay in an expensive resort”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

I had allotted myself a few extra dollars so we could stay in 4 and 5 star hotels. Palm Beach was not going to be on the high end this trip.. By chance the night before we left Cocoa Beach I found The Fairfield Inn. It was a reasonable $139 a night using the triple A card. We had stayed at the Courtyard in Cocoa Beach which was lovely and on a busy strip of stores and hotels the night before. One of things that attracted me to these two places was the rewards from Marriott I would receive. Marriott has never let me down, and it did not this time. At the Fairfield you get to stay on a corner property with a pool, and jacuzzi. The bed and room were comfortable and clean. In the morning you get a breakfast that included yogurt, fresh fruit to take with you or eat there, hard boiled eggs or a breakfast sandwich and more. This is a serve yourself so you do not have to tip anyone. It is included free of charge in your hotel fee. We shared a table with another couple. They do accommodate familes, handicapped, seniors, and everyone else. If you go.. travel down the street to see all the luxurious condos, Worth Street is nearby, and large gated homes with shrubs as high up as 15 feet is a must see experience. We ate dinner at a place called Bob's Crab House. It is on Zagat's list and will not disappoint you. It is casual and affordable... It is a little drive away from the hotel.

Room Tip: We stayed on the second floor.

“Affordable and can't beat the location right on the beach!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

It's nothing short of miraculous that this affordable hotel is right in Palm Beach -- the beach is right across the street, and it's an easy walk to all the bars and restaurants in downtown Lake Worth. Rooms are quiet and clean --this isn't a luxury hotel but it's perfectly adequate. Prices are obviously much better in the off-season. I've stayed here and have had friends and relatives stay here -- the staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downside is that there is a large posse of 'regulars' who come and stay for extended periods in the winter, and they can be a little territorial about the common areas.

Room Tip: You want the south side in the winter -- more sun. Ask for a room away from outside doors -- incomi...

“Man....i cannot think of a better value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

If you can go a few days without room service, concierge and white glove amenities,
and you are looking for easy access to a clean beach, then this place is perfect.

I believe there was an included continental breakfast, light fare.

But after breakfast, walk across the street and be on the beach.

Incredibly reasonable rates, and a few decents lunch and dinner places alongside the beach.

We will go again.

“Nice place Nice price with an added bonus”

Family friendly. Walk to the beach. Lake worth Lagoon in the back of the property. An added bonus is that if your stay is over a weekend from Late October till early May you get to enjoy a lively green market. Fresh produce, baked goods and a special Canal Street section. Best of all it is just steps outside your hotel room and it is free.
