This hotel is a must stay for Palatka. We stayed 2 nights on a fishing trip and were overall "pleased". The hotel staff is great and the hotel is "well kept". Our room was decent and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The pool was well maintained and refreshing. My only issues were #1) There were kids in the pool that were not staying at the hotel and they were loud and surly to a point of disrespect. #2) This is not the hotels fault but Palatka has turned into a rough little town and it is impossible to "walk around" without being asked for money or a cigarette! There is a gas station, several restaurants, and a Lowes nearby but I suggest driving vs walking, and do not even bother going to the mall behind the hotel. (trust me in that one)

I stayed at the sleep inn in palatka, fl for three different weekly stays, I uaely stay at the quailty inn but moved because the offered a 10% off for persons there on bussiness. The first two weeks went all right, other than noisey floors,thin wall you can hear the tv and talking from the next room. I have a room mate that smoked so i asked for a room on the bottom floor so he could be closer to the outside to smoke. Stayed in room 102 right by back door. It was a pet room, But i lived with it. When i got home and checked my bank account i was charged double,when call they said I Was Smoking In This Room.I explained that there was no smoking in the room the Manger said they had pictures of this,I explained that there was in the trash a empanty This means that the maids are instrucked to go through all trash in every room. Just a good thing it wasn't my SS number. I will not stay at this hotal again. J.Surber

I stayed at the Sleep Inn in Palatka last month on business and was quite hesitant to stay there because I generally stay in Hilton properties. I was pleasantly surprised at the room and the quality. This hotel is fairly new and everything appears to be in tip top condition. My room which was very very clean, contained a fridge, microwave and nice sized shower (no tub, but I would not use it anyhow). My only issue is the fact that the walls are paper thin. I could hear the gentleman in the next room changing channels and coughing. It was not overly bothersome because I was only there the one evening, but had I been there longer, I would have either changed rooms to one unoccupied on either side, or changed hotels. There is not alot of choices in Palatka in the way of hotels, and if I would visit here again on business I would not hesitate to stay here. Breakfast was served in the morning and it appeared to be a hot breakfast with the usual items. The clock in my room was not set to daylight savings time and by the time I arrived in the lobby for breakfast, I had to sprint to get to work on time. Other than this, don't hesitate to stay. Staff are friendly and courteous too.

i have no complain everyrhing i come room i very nice and clean. i work for comfort inn in atlanta,ga as a houskeeper so i know.thanks for good service. and i will be there june 9th
