We booked it to stay for a week for Biketober fest. It *is* on the beach and the staff were really nice.

The room we had was disgusting. The motel needs upgrades; the rooms are smoking rooms and smell; the taps had brown water coming out of them unless you ran them awhile. We wanted to change rooms and couldn't. Since we had prepaid via a discount site, we couldn't get a discount.

I was glad to leave.

We decided to travel around whilst in Florida and prebooked last minute to stay here we where not expecting too much but where plesently surpised this is stated as a 2 1/2 Star Hotel, on arrival the lady on reception GiGi was very plesant and very friendly she gave us a map and told us about places to go to near by too eat etc.

The Motel/Hotel its self seemed a little dated but was lovely and it was right on the beach you could sit on a chair outside your room and watch the sea and see the sun set we even saw Dolphins here swimming in the sea much to my delight. The room was a little dark ie the lighting and furntiure was dark the room had two large beds but everything was clean plenty of fresh towels and tidy plently of soap and shampoo etc you even got a microwave and a full size fridge freezer which was very handy there was also coffee/tea making facilities in the room which was plently full. there was also a safe which you where free to use and an Iron and Ironing board and a ice vending machine on our floor the 2nd floor the motel also had lifts to the floors, we had breakfast which was help yourself waffles which you make and cereals bread eggs that sort of thing fruit juice and teas/coffee just what you need to start you off for the day.

The pool area was clean and well laid out, even after check out the staff allowed us to continue using the pool and allowed us to carry on parking for the day whic was handy, Ormond Beach is lovely not too busy like Daytona and we have already said if we come back we will stay here again

This was a very clean, smaller sized motel right on the beach. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, beds very comfortable with 4 pillows on each bed, a microwave, a portable frig., coffee maker, iron, safe, etc.. There is an elevator, which is good since there are 4 levels of rooms.
The swimming pool was clean, well maintained and looked over the beach. There was a separate kiddie pool, which my grandson loved.
Breakfast consisted of mini donuts, bagles, biscuits & gravy, fruit, juice & waffles, which the staff kept replenishing.
My only complaint was that I paid more for an ocean view room and did not get it. Our ocean view consisted of standing outside the door, looking to the left about 30 feet over the pool and seeing a partial view of the ocean. I don't consider that "ocean view". If you are paying for an ocean view room, you should be able to open your curtain or sliding door and stare straight out to the ocean. The room was overpriced for what we got.
I would stay here again, but only at a much lower rate.

One of the best Comfort Inn's we've stayed in. Wonderful breakfast, friendly staff and clean rooms.
